set up is very heavy and man you trying grab carp after 10 seconds after catch! crazy mofo.( i seen guys get tailwacked knocked out like that). lol when it has so much power left!!. .... put drag lower(it makes it more fun also).... tire it out... catch it(even better use a ultralight to lightweight pole and fish for monsters with 6-10# test.)((though u cant do that in this weed mess)).... since u have heavy set up you should be able to do that easy..even in the thick of all that grass ect...nice catch! i dont think a landing net is needed when you are in the water fishing and if you tire it out you can unhook in water and then hold it for pic then release it when it swims off your hand just hold it like a bass in the water till it takes off on its own, if its too tired. tight lines

I catch them on a 5wt fly rod. so much fun! it's like an ultralight but better!
