I was thinking the same and was curious about it to look up the definition. Doesn't seem to be an exact solid definition, typical for music genres, but the core element mentioned is increased tempo vs the original, which this does do. The difference between all of this channels tracks and what I've always thought of nightcore as, is that this channel only shifts the Tempo, not the overall "speed" along with the pitch like the majority of nightcore stuff does. It's also using a lot of tracks which are already quite slow in tempo to start with, whilst most nightcore takes more dance/club oriented tracks that are already fast and makes them faster. That's my analysis at least.
