Wow, my Mother always said I should have been a girl my whole life. I did transition into dressing as a woman and hanging out with my "trans" sister and her gay friends and going out with them to GNOs and other gatherings then showed Mother as I came out to her. She didn't believe it was me in the photos I introduced her new daughter to until I pointed out one photo where I looked EXACTLY like her at my age then it hit her. I asked her to go to lunch sometime so we could get better acquainted, but she passed away before we got to. She became my biggest supporter which shocked me too. Now, since her and my "sister's" passing, I'm alone, no support, not even the wife's. I have become locked between being a man and a woman and I lean more to being "femmale" and a woman than the other. I dream of being a bride someday and I find this story rather invigoratingly enchanting..... I suppose Pennsylvania has become a country instead of a commonwealth too. How odd. I live in PA and have never heard of any grand balls in the commonwealth, but I guess they happen.
