I watched them film Christine. It was mostly filmed in a metal bungalow on Irwindale Ave., Just south of the 210 freeway. One of the night scenes you see Christine is rolling on Irwindale Ave just after a rain with wet streets. The trees that line Irwindale Ave were newly planted, full grown now. The large metal bungalow building where Christine lived was demoed just after the film was made, It's now a McDonald's and it's still there. Just a little silly trivia, that McDonald's holds the record for selling the most Big Mac's across the U.S...Lots of truckers go there...ok, I'm done...Good video, Thanks!

Around 1900, and have an engineering degree just when the electrical grid was being set up. Want to talk about "opportunity" we had with that grid and our liberty to start businesses with the free enterprise we created that was still in our hands (and now given to communism)? Now, you don't grow up to be what ever you want like we were told by teachers, (which meant we have a brain in our heads, and a free enterprise system in our hands to use it in.), now you grow up to do what my old JH sign says, "Forward to serve", (the state). It is true, that people who build things do not get the recognition that they deserve. Today, we think a product grows on a communist tree for free. But the people in the USA who built things following what they thought was possible in what used to be our free enterprise? Steven King made a small mistake that Furies were not offered in red in '58. The model to get was the Golden Commando package, which was the top of the line of the Fury package. Most people that year went for the Commando package and colour because of what it said, Dayton Beach. You guys know a lot more about this, but my reading is that a red fury like that would have to be custom painted at the factory like that, since dealerships could not offer a Fury in Red yet for 1957 and 58, but Belvederes were offered in Red and White like that. Ever since knowing that, it's all about the Golden Commando with the gold grill, but I do love the film Christine too and it was a big part of my childhood and what got me into cars from that era into the 1970s. I actually like your shows in particular because you do them exactly as stock, which was always my favourite kind of car show, as opposed to customisation, I feels sometimes that is a sad thing historically with cars like that.

I always quote this movie... a few scenes actually. Whenever my friends, my brother, or I bring home a new carcass I always say, "Geez Arnie" like Dennis did when they first found the car. That initial lust is tough!

Oh, just, one more thing: (been watching "Columbo", to-day); I'm going to start following you, on Twitter. This is a fabulous episode.
It is my understanding that the book has Christine as a 57 Fury, but in real life the red and white two tone was not available until 1958 and that it was also only offered on the Belvedere and not the Fury. If I am not mistaken the original Christine (the 57 Fury) used for the up close shots was a peach color and was painted two tone. ( I am aware multiple Plymouths were used to film but the main character up close car is the one I am referring to.)
In the book, it was a 58 Fury, & it was not offered in red & white, but Roland Lebay had it special painted. IRL, the 58s only came in buckskin beige. For the movie, they used around 26 different versions of the car. The 57 & 58 Furys & Belvederes & Savoys. I believe only 3 movie cars survived.
To me, this is one of the most iconic cars in American cinema! Just as popular as the De Lorean from Back to the Future, The Batmobile from Batman! Christine is up there with all of them.
Mark Worman is the best at original MOPAR restorations. Only issue is that the power plants were too powerful for the suspension, chasis....a lot of them were wrecked...

And then M2 Die-cast Die-cast makers also makes a great Christine and The Die-cast cars of the Dodge Challengers with the Hellephant that's also a model kit that you can put together and even change the tires and rims and is a 1/64 scale Die-cast car!!" And these companies also have a lot of different cars and trucks that are in the movies 🎬!!! I collect Die-cast cars and trucks and I have a lot of different movie cars!!! It's a very fun hobby that most of the time won't break the bank !!!!? Lol God bless you all today 🙏 Shalom

Heat-shrinking is an "old bodyman's trick", is it?
I haven’t seen the movie for a long time. Nailed it boys
Beautiful car guys beautiful job but another christine come On
Christene my favorite movie car of all time I will own one one day
Why was there never a Chrsitine prequel? There was a story there of what happened with her and the first owner? The setting was there
Ahhhhhhhh this episode is freaking awesome!!!!🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟😬😬😬
To me, this is one of the most iconic cars in American cinema! Just as popular as the De Lorean from Back to the Future, The Batmobile from Batman! Christine is up there with all of them.
The Milner coupe will always be #1. Fastest car in the valley!
@@DGillyy OH MAN! How could I forget the infamous hotrod from American Graffiti!! I must be getting old, lol 👍
@@jdmbeats I truly think that hotrodding could have died in the 70s if it wasn't for that movie and that car
Don't leave the Mad Max Interceptor off the list!
Rock n roll is here to stay!!!
That’s just what ill say…
Can’t wait to see finish…
This show is so much better when they stray from being corny and focus on the cars.
Had a 57 Savoy when in high school in 1961…front fenders were bubbling (rust) above the headlights! My next car was a fiberglass Corvette!
Great video work and build, love the car and the movie👌🇳🇴😎
Subscribed, great scenes from the movie too👏
You all do a great job
And thanks to you all
And the film crew
Mark Worman is the best at original MOPAR restorations. Only issue is that the power plants were too powerful for the suspension, chasis....a lot of them were wrecked...
I'd love to work for Mark, he's a nut! I probably couldn't get any work done due to laughing all the time! LOL
This was a great video, I can’t watch the syndicated motortrend series with all the stupid crap they use as filler.
My all time favorite movie as well, Mark. You did it justice.
I bet that trunk lid shuts firmly with the most SATISFYING "Thunk"!
Best movie scene reenactment ever! I was laughing my butt off!
I love the movie ( Christine) "!!!" Also!!!" And I knew that he would most definitely make this car happen and be a Gold Standard car!!!!!!!!!!" And if anyone else loves this car!!!? Then I can tell you that Green light Die-cast makers makes a awesome Die-cast cars that are in the movie!!! Even Buddies car!!!" And then M2 Die-cast Die-cast makers also makes a great Christine and The Die-cast cars of the Dodge Challengers with the Hellephant that's also a model kit that you can put together and even change the tires and rims and is a 1/64 scale Die-cast car!!" And these companies also have a lot of different cars and trucks that are in the movies 🎬!!! I collect Die-cast cars and trucks and I have a lot of different movie cars!!! It's a very fun hobby that most of the time won't break the bank !!!!? Lol God bless you all today 🙏 Shalom
I love everyone had a Steven King shirt on.
I like to fit the valance with the deck on,just so I can use the seal on,its easier to make sure it seals well.
Are you sure that's not Christine's twin or Christine's clone at all of what so ever,OK show me!
I JUST FREAKIN LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
