    hey ted. all dip switches in one position makes it run very nicely. I switched all of mine tonight and wow flawlessly. thanks for getting back to me. it will come to Calgary with me this weekend and play lol

    cool. every time i see one of those things running around it reminds me of those little jumping spiders with the small bodies and big heads.

    I just got the FR. I plan on upgrading mine to the Sabertooth setup. I really want to get mine out as stock first. After that I will order new motors, and ESCs. Yes, the on off switch is just one more thing to FAIL. I may go with another RC controller I have. I see you are using stock motors? How would that work on a brushless set up ? Can you get the brushless ESC ? If not, I wont worry about it. I can watch someones video on a brushless setup. I really want the brushless for some reason.

    Hey Ted, great video! If I remember right, when I did the 380 conversion.... I think I needed new pinions. Something tells me the stock pinions didn't fit the shafts on the 380's right.

      CrawlerTedsGarage oh no, it wasn't criticism on your video.... I just wanted to make sure you knew, as it can be pretty disappointing when you think you're about to be finished with an upgrade!

    Awesome as usual Ted. I have one of these to and it is fun when it runs lol. I up grade to the sabretooth esc and 380 brushed motors. I am wondering, if you do another video on your rig and upgrade with the pistol grip controller, could you mention the dip switch position on the sabretooth. My rig runs good for a while and then gets twitchy when I run straight and turn. Wondering if you or any one else can suggest a solution for me. Love ur vids man.

    When you change the leads on athe esc and battery which end of the deans do you put on each(sticky out bit or the plug in bit) ps another great vid ted

    • @humblerc841
      @humblerc841 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joseph Hand you want the innie(female) on the battery, and the outie(male) on the esc. if you put the outie on the battery, you're begging for short circuit and a big fire.

    i have alot of issues with my tracks getting packed with snow and slipping off of the front sprockets. i have tightened it and it will not spin because it is too tight. i have loosened it and it doesnt help either. if you could help me ted that would be great. if you have a link to a video that would be helpful also. thank you

    • @CrawlerTedsGarage
      @CrawlerTedsGarage  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometime the wet sticky snow just causes problems . I like it when its cold out and the snow is fluffy . I leave my blizzard outside in the cold for a while before I run it , the tracks cool off and snow doesnt stick as bad ,

    NICE! I just made my blizzard brushless this summer.
    You may want to hit that ESC with a coat of corrosionX spray to protect it if it does get wet in there.
    Check out my channel loads of blizzard mods and vids!
