That's awesome you made this video, loving the JW larp! CAR is very interesting, first time I saw it was in the videogame Splinter Cell: Conviction & found it so fascinating visually. Have you had the chance to try out the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol yet?
Thank you! I love the Splinter Cell series 👍 still trying to see red arrows above targets and “Execute”😂 I have not tried the A300, if it’s anything like the 1301 it’s a winner!
As much as I like the Wick movies please don't take this at all as a good demonstration of CAR. Mr. Reeves is correct that the system really shines CQC, and thats exactly where most real self defense situations occur. It's not difficult to transition to precision shooting and CAR even has an extended position for that. The only problem with CAR is that it doesn't offer any advantages against stationary targets that aren't shooting back at you. Which is why you don’t really see comp shooters use it. What it does offer is a great balance of offense, defense, stability and mobility aka an actual fighting stance similar to the many effective combat disciplines thousands of years old. Also, don't learn the stance from this video or the Wick movies. I'm guessing it was done this way for the camera but his stance is incorrect and it gives up some obvious advantages because of that.

Could not summed up any better.
