A friend of mine, a couple miles away Z4A, had one of those weeping Mulberries given to her for mothers day many years ago, and 1st winter if got cut down by the snow plow. 15 years later she has a 60' tree that regrew from the root!

This one has been growing steadily for two years and has doubled its branch and foliage this year. I planted a second in an isolated spot where is should do well too, if I can keep the deer off of it. They did quite a number on it, taking 75% of the growth back down to the whip, but it seems fine. Irish spring has been successful as deer deterrent for the last three weeks, or so.
I know it isnt your channels focus, but I would be interested in a video on what you're growing yourself. You are a knowledgeable guy. Cheers.

There should have been a tag that came with it at purchase and that should have the specific variety's name on it. I would be pretty hard pressed to come up with an accurate ID with only a description. Even a picture likely wouldn't provide much insight. I would be tempted to call the store you purchased from and ask for the employee that ran the gardening department for the summer and ask if there was a way that they could inform you. They must have manifests of their purchases and distributors. Sorry that I couldn't be of much help. At least the colour of the berries with provide you with some information. Best of luck!

I'm currently attempting to grow this variety of mulberry in zone 4. The place I ordered it from said it was hardy to zone 4 but other places say zone 5. I'm worried I've wasted my money.

I know in the middle east average height 10- 20 feet. but old trees can be over that.

Interesting, I wonder why the height is so different? Have you been able to compare the tastes? Are they much different?

You can put a tarp down if you wish to, but I will likely get the ladder out for a serious harvest! We have a lot of wildlife in our area, every one of the wild animals that I mentioned in the video live around us. I imagine that most will not go to waste!
Thanks for check out the video Erica! I appreciate it! Best of luck this year with gardens!
