There is a 5 long I piece one that can clear 5 lines at once for a Pentris, but I know that’s not the point, it’s about the new zone with clearing as many lines as you can while time “stops” for a bit

Zone Battle is amazing. The mechanics and music makes the mood so intense, especially when you are matched with someone of the same level, those battles go on for so long!
I love the music in that game mode!

You zoomed your screen capture ? Game is way more impressive when you have the tetris grid farther/smaller. Anyway I loved Tetris Effect and Connected is even better, way more animations, hdr is even more vivid, multiplayer is amazin
Didn't zoom the screen capture, you can just move the grid closer to the screen in options.

I saw a video of 2 guys in the top 50 players that got the same pieces, so I think that means yes

Since this version likes to make you beat with every move, is there an advantage of being on beat when hard dropping the tetriminoes?
I find myself playing Connected mode more. Very hard has challenged me. The team seems to have such a hard time with the second area. Great game!
Not exactly it’s more like the music reacts to you not you to the music.
It's not just the difficulty, but it sometimes feels too long after clearing the first few bosses.
@@84jordie Man, just barely got past Very Hard, with two other players during this past full moon, from the weekend. Of course it would be the same zodiac star sign I am, being the Leo, just before Tetrimidion. That has to be frustrating trying to get clears and the field just disappears on you, and the field just shifts upward. It was still a challenge though.
@@Joe_334 it is very hard to stay alive on the later levels, I still contribute fatigue to it cause of losing concentration after such a long battles along the way.
The devs should make it that after each level clear, we have option to continue with other players, instead if one exits, everyone has to start from beginning.
I briefly tried this on my series S I'm on 1080p TV but wanted to know what's the enhancements on it?
Better performance in single player and online multiplayer.

Dude same here on playing at night. I hoped they would their songs from previous games at least. My dream would be to get some Porter Robinson tracks on it.
@@jdnb4832 the best way to get better is to play better players. Also the master mode helps get used to speed...if you can get 100 plus lines in master mode u can play vs mode easily.
So what's the difference between this and the original Tetris Effect to justify the extra gigabyte?

I love how the reviews on Xbox say the game is "too hard" what did they expect? For them to copy-paste the same goddamn Tetris from 37 years ago?! Jeez, little 2 year olds that can't take a challenge...

I can't STAND how much flashing is in this game. Are people so bored with Tetris they need lights to flash in their eyes just to play the game? I've been playing Tetris for 30 years and there are points where there is so much flashing you can't even see what's happening on the board.. WTF were they thinking????????
The music is not catchy at all and way to realistic, just like the game, this is IMPOSSIBLE TETRIS 2 [aka. TETRIS 99 BUT MORE FLASHES, LESS PLAYERS AND MUSIC THAT MAKES U BORED)
