When Akane sitting down has better animation than some seasonal anime
I immediately was taken aback. I didn't expect them to use that many frames for a simple movement like that.
Not to mention Kana moving in the background as well.

There is *so* much of Aka's journey as a mangaka in this story. A lot of it comes from his experience adapting Kaguya-sama to live action, plus his meeting Kanna Hashimoto, and her background as an Idol turned Actress.

Im sorry because its not related to oshi no ko directly, but watching this reminds me of Akane’s VA being the VA for the main heroine for Angel’s next door spoils me rotten.

manga artists are often shut ins who barely interact with anyone beyond their own staff. This character is a special case though, I really quite like her character and we'll get to see more of her in this arc.
