Hi. I am planning to buy a pair of studio monitors. I have an analog mixer and I just want to know if I need an audio interface or is a mixer all I need. Thanks.
❓❔Q Sir:I just bought a Numark M6 DJ mixer.... I have Klipsh R-15pm bookshelf speakers with all connections only on the right side..and two Audio Technica LP120 turntables with fixed RCA cords... Would you recommend I use the speakers Aux in/out only to connect the DJ mixer❓Or am I missing another equipment piece such as a DAC or reciever of some kind... What do you recommend I do here❓Very desperate....THX✌
I'm trying to eliminate a hum to powered monitors with 1/4" or Female XLR mic type input. I understand balanced cables (XLR) can help with this problem. My question - does this AUX or Monitor output accept a cable that is 1/4" TRS to 3 Pin XLR?
Wow, excellent info. Cheers from Canada. This is an Analog Mixer, correct. Now in 2022 which Input will take Line Out or To Headphones from an Android phone, say a Karaoke Track?
HI there. Thanks for the info on this. I'm after a compact mixing desk that I can send two sends out to two different on stage monitors that can have different mixes to them. I can't seem to see any about. Anything you could recommend? Thanks.
can you make a video for Two tops, and 2 DJ subs please? i have this mixer and have no clue how to connect anything. I have a SM58 to along with this. im interested in 2 SUBS and two tops. Thanks you.
It looks like my headphones don't connect and work properly with my Alesis Studio 24, and I only hear static. These headphones do work when I plug them directly into my PC with a stereo mini jack. I have to use a stereo mini to quarter inch adapter to plug these in to the mixer. Any answers?
I can do this by connect my monitors into my mixer using XLR to 1/4 trs connection. Then I use rca to 1/4 in order to connect my sub to the monitors. Hope this helps you
@@expertisland and I'm sorry for not being able to explain it better. I didn't know that one powered board/amp/head could control the mains and stage monitors separately and be able to drive all the speakers. At work we have a 6 channel Peavey amp head mixer ( sorry off hand don't know exact model) that drives two mains on trees in house. We just received a monitor speaker and I was thinking I would need to buy a separate head to drive that one monitor speaker. I work for a company that helps adults with intellectual and physical disabilities and we have talent shows, so it's not that fancy of a setup. But I'm in charge of running the system and just got a wedge so they can hear themselves on stage better. I'm not sure if that's a question or not. But thanks for your tutorial
computer speaker connects via 3.5 mm cable so you would plug it into the headphones if you need them to be mains or monitor you will need a cable adaptor.
Whoooo. Finally, found a video with not cunfusing explanation. Thank you sir
are all your speakers used powered/active speakers ? how can i do all of that using passive speakers ?
