В этом случае планка, на которой находится переключатель Mute, просто смещается, вследствии чего ребро переключателя упирается в край отверстия. Ему просто не хватает места опуститься до щелчка. У меня так было. В таком случае нужно добраться до болтов крепления, сняв батарею, остабить винт возле переключателя, приподнять панку, перевести выключатель в положение выключеного звука, и затем затянуть болт.
The very top screw on the mute button bracket is tricky to get in, the person in the video did it very well though which is why it looked so easy, but it makes it even easier to put the screw in if you do remove the logic board
I have replaced the battery from a local shop. After battery replacement. The phone was working for 10 days. Suddenly the display is just blank. Iphone gets detected in iTunes. It also detects the SIM card .But display is just blank.Data is very important for me .kindly help me to rectify this problem.I can ship this device to your place.
Tried this repair today. Failed dramatically. I wasn’t able to unscrew the top left screw of the mute switch because it was stripped. I didn’t want to remove the entire mobo and I ended up ruining that damn screw.
That's frustrating Giacomo! Are you not able to grab the head of the screw with some needle nose pliers? I know it's quite a tight area to work in and you don't want to damage any of the surrounding components.
My phone is stuck on ringer when I go to camera and switch it to my face it mutes but when I switch it the other way it unmutes is there a way I can fix it???
No the parts are not interchangeable. You need to buy a replacement for the 6s as the 6s has 3D touch functionality. The replacement guide is pretty similar though.
The internal bracket is probably damaged or has come loose. Try taking the assembly out and you'll be able to see if it is damaged or if a screw has just come loose. You can then either screw it back into place or order a replacement to repair it.
You have pressure stuck in your screen, you need to take it to a electronic repair shop so they can release it, it is too risky to do it on your own, you can end up breaking part of the bottom screen which will cost you more money
Excuse my language but how the fuck did you put the plastic slider back on the switch I spent around 5 hours and broke 2 of those switch pcbs and still wasn't successful
My iphone 6 volume buttons are super wiggly and if you press them they just sink into the phone and pop back up but don't actually do anything? Do I just do this and what specific part should I look for online when buying?

When I removed the screw at 3:36 the rotating screw-driver destroyed the ribbon cable connector (it was disconnected should have kept it connected).

It sounds like the display has either been damaged or one of the connectors has come loose.

There’s a link in the video description to one option. You can buy spare parts on Amazon or eBay.
Why do you need to remove the new brackets from the new switch and install old brackets? Why not just use new brackets?
Some spares don’t come with new brackets, so you need to move the old bracket across to the new switch.

thats a problem with the screws inside on the volume button bracket just tighten them youll be good
