Always remember my buddy had a husqvarna cr500 1982 i believe. When he put it next to my Honda cr250, which was newer than his bike there was no comparison between the two. Husqvarna was a simple and much better bike all around. Ill never forget the attention to detail and the cable oilers on each cable and so on. What a mans bike. Not to mention the power that came out of that motor! Beautiful video.
I currently vintage race a 84 cr500 that I bought new.. an absolute monster.. the 84 had a different frame with a 28.5deg head stock turns better than the earlier ones. I raced it at unadilla this year 1270 bikes, lots of Huskys none like mine
Christopher Hawley Hi Chris wow not seen that video in a long time that was one of my early efforts way back in the day which was pretty horrendous now that I look back at it. Nevertheless I’ve moved on to better things but thanks for your comments and thanks for watching.
Had a 1983 500 in the early 90s paid 250 quid for it went like a train I think in some areas better than a Maico 490 had it for a couple of years then sold it for 150 quid them where the days nice bike
Freekin awesome bike. Im doowin a total factory restoration of my 1984 240WR. Wondering where did you get your left side clutch/engine casing from and how much was it. My original case is totally shit, and not suitable for museum quality resto. Any help on engine casings is much appreciated. I am located in Australia and would also like to know of a good engine and gearbox rebuilder. Thanls, Wooky, from DownUnda.
I'm 65 and have been riding since I was 12 and still riding a Streetglide......What happened to calling the Bikes a SWINGARM FRAME ????....WHO in the FUCK came up with TWIN SHOCK ?????🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
