    Thanks for that. It's amazing how few videos actually show the view through the sight. I've looked at loads. Should have come here first!

    I recently bought the M Spec and have had it to the range three times . It held exact zero all three trips and I really like the large field of view it seems less taxing on my eyes than staring down a tube. The shake awake , 12 hour auto shut off and extended battery life were a big factor in buying it.
    I have been a Holosun fan for a long time , I own two of their 1x6 accs scopes and one 1x8 , also their 2.5 x prism scope . I think they are a fine product, my first 1x6 is five years old now and works like new.

      At least Sight Mark labels theirs properly. Only ones I’ve seen that clearly state PARALLAX CORRECTION PAST 10 YARDS. Lol. All advertising parallax free but that’s not possible. Instead the higher end optics either have adjustments built in or the reticle is set to infinity creating less room for error at longer distances.

    When testing parralax always aim at something past 10 or so yards. Ideally 25. Becsuse thats when its parralax free. The glass on that door can mess up the test. Try it on a wall 2 feet in front of you then try it at 15 feet. You will notice a huge exaggerated difference.

      The parallax is horrible on the cheap sight that circle dot was bouncing like a basketball on the steps. I use it for my home defense 5.7 arp tho where parallax won’t be too important at 10-15 foot ranges with back ups irons

    I have the 60$ sight mark rebranded as a Firefield. It blows. But in the day time works mint. Night. Not so good. But my friend has a holosun and the difference is insane for the clearness of the dot. I’ll probably not by a 300$ sight anytime soon. But I’m getting one eventually

    • @ParadoxZer0
      @ParadoxZer0  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Parallax occurs when the target and reticle are on different planes within the optic. It results in a displacement between the intended target and reticle.

      @bunberrier 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ParadoxZer0 Thanks for your help but I still dont get it. I understand what parallax is, but I dont have an idea of how this sight is used. Do you have to align the dot with some point in the glass AND your target?

    • @ParadoxZer0
      @ParadoxZer0  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes, people are hard on the Sightmark Optics. I feel they are a great bang for your buck sight for someone who is into target shooting. I prefer my Holosuns just because the dot is much crisper to my eyes. I was considering picking up a M spec just for the fact that I believe zero could be achieved and kept much easier. Changing recticles manually screws with zero unfortunately. If you just set it and forget it, the R and A specs are great. The M spec would be the best bet going with a Sightmark. I'd be willing to try one out 🤑

  • @hydrophilicchristopher9874
    @hydrophilicchristopher9874 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I bought the chinesium CV life for shits and giggles. It eats the recoil of my ar-15 SBR even on full auto and maintains zero. The issue it dropping it. There isn’t any rubber sealant holding the glass in just friction with the frame it seems. One drop that glass starts physically moving around. In short the stupid cheap Chinese call of duty looking optic is good for plinking
