Hello all! This was actually my last video from the Tunisia series. I had a wonderful time in this little gem of a country and I hope it inspired you to travel there for yourselves. The North Africa trip to both Algeria and Tunisia is now over. Stay tuned for a vlog from London and a Q&A video, both of which are coming soon. Where should I visit in 2020? Leave your thoughts below!
Oh you went so far and actually arrived to Tatouine but finally missed to visit and shoot the Star wars' set location there! The film set is still there and well preserved, also you missed visiting the true essence of the South with is Tozeur! I think you had covered Tunisia very well until you reached the part of the South. Yet you have covered a lot in your videos and shown most of the true Tunisia, unfortunately you missed showing right the South but yet you have done a wonderful job that deserves to be thanked for!! Thanks a lot and come again there is still a lot to see!! :)
Another excellent presentation Jason. As I mentioned before I also came to Tunisia in November, but in 1973. I met a local in a Cafe on Avenue France who invited me to stay with his family in Mahdia (which was awesome). From there we took local buses (with chickens on board haha) into the desert in the south at Ghomrassen, very close to Tataouine and Chenini, and even though I did not get to see those places, Ghomrassen certainly came across the same way. And I personally also remember the call to prayer in that desert oasis town, with its Berber houses built into the sandstone cliff faces, whilst wandering early through the streets. Of course no internet or Google or Lonely Planet guide in those days. You certainly brought back the memories. Thank you very much. Your work in filming is excellent, your editing is great and choice of music is superb. I binge watched all your videos of Tunisia, Algeria and Turkey having been to all. In fact I travelled overland back to Australia from Holland for one year in 1975 through Syria, Jordan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Thailand and Malaysia, an epic journey especially after having hitch hiked throughout Europe and Scandinavia for the years preceding that. Travelling around the world has been the greatest education for me and now at 68 years I have been known to immerse myself in the memories of those times which remain so vivid and strong throughout your life as you will discover when you get to my age. Enjoy the journey.

The sound and picture quality of your video is amazing - the sunset and the call to prayer. Such great cinematography! Someone should nominate you for a BAFTA if that’s even possible

Yes, it is very sad. I am currently writing the new Bradt Travel Guide to Tunisia, which will be the first English-language guidebook to Tunisia to be published in over 10 years. Dear, you are a wonderful guide. The way you made efforts to show us different countries and the beautiful places. You are Great. God may certainly bless you with Devine protection and sound health.
I have heard of Chenini and Eddwirat (Douriet) before not far from Tataouine. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 km from Djerba and even further from Tunis.
Ì ve never heard of any of the places you tallied about this video has to be the most awe inspiring video I've ever seen. So beautiful.after w watching several of your videos and then going to sleep i dream that I'm traveling to these places myself ìts very exciting.
I'm really glad you are visiting Tunisia. I live in Sousse and I never had the chance to visit Tataouine. I really loved seeing it from your perspective. Best of luck in your future adventures. Peace ♥
Imrantub Sousse on my opinion is the second best tourist city after Djerba in Tunisia, famous especially for the nightlife there, great beaches and hotels
After watching all these travel videos of Tunisia, Oh Boy! I must have to say Tunisia is extremely beautiful and lovely with all her rich histories and so well-preserved historical artifacts. InshaAllah, If I ever travel to other countries, Tunisia will be on the top of my list 😍 Salam from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 ❤ 🇹🇳
My friend, I go to the north of the Tunisian country, the city of Bizerte, the Baga of Tabarka, and Galta. You will see that you will never forget it. There are waterfalls of the sea of mountains. Everything is beautiful in Tunisia.
I visited Tunisia, with help from your wonderful series I might add(!!!), but somehow I missed this video until now! I was in Chenini and the moment I heard the first rooster crow I was transported back there. Scaling the vertical old village streets in the heat, and exploring all the little old grottos, for all the wonder I experienced there, it was the incessant crowing of roosters rebounding off the valley walls that stuck with meXD As a city girl I'd never heard anything like it in my life! Thanks for the wonderful series:D
Well presented video you are welcome, "Tatatouine" in our dialect means: springs of water(but not easy to find them ;)), many other interesting places you can visit also: Ghomrassen, Matouss, Ksar Hedadda
The two combined places video's in Tunisia were simply extraordinary. Tataoine/ Cheneine are very beautiful places . The panoramic wide angle sceneries were lovely and pleasing to see , especially the masterful construction all too good. Thanks to have seen them through your keen eye's for these unbelievable places.

God may certainly bless you with Devine protection and sound health.
I have heard of Chenini and Eddwirat (Douriet) before not far from Tataouine. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 km from Djerba and even further from Tunis.

Best of luck in your future adventures. Peace ♥
Is Sousse nice to visit?
Imrantub Sousse on my opinion is the second best tourist city after Djerba in Tunisia, famous especially for the nightlife there, great beaches and hotels
Tu devrais aller la voir c'est beau😊

Salam from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 ❤ 🇹🇳
Bangladesh is a beautfiul country, too . You re always welcome here in tunisia.
Wow....so beautiful place
Respect from Tunisian lady , I loved your video I'm planning to visit chenenni soon.
