Good runs! 1st thing i always do when changing the oil is put a bottle of oil in the seat that way you know when you sit it down to race if the oil is still in seat ya need to pour it in! I learned the hard way as well just 1 time fortunately!
I filled my oil bottles and put them in the trailer on race day so I knew I needed it gonna have to try the seat trick next time lol

Good runs! Starting on the outside definitely doesn't help your chances at winning. I've drained new oil out at the track because I wasn't sure if I put oil back in the engine lol. I can't say much as far as rules go the classes I run in don't really have rules , rwyb, and stock appearing. The classes with the "rules" around here there's always some kind of argument or even fights about something.

I have 2 karts here in Eastern North Carolina if you ever wanna ride. We run Triple T. Liberty etc. I don't miss the crash fests in ohio. But do miss the Burris tires. Plastic Maxxis are junk lol

i forgot to put oil in my motor my rookie year in 92 first and last time i did it if they are letting them cheat on weight what kind of motor tech are they doing for the winners good run btw

When i 1st started racing i inly put 3oz of oil in my engine and ran it for hot laps and a heat race 🤦🏻♂️. You got ya a heat race win, feature win will be next race. 🤘. Oh how many times has he backed that trailer in the yard 😂😂 jk..

I have a million heat wins and a couple hundred feature wins just none in the past year lol tough out there for an aging racer
We had scales when I raced back in the late 80’s that you had to pick the kart up and put it on the scale. I admit it - I cheated on weight every race because you could hook one foot under the scale and pull up on it and push down with the other foot. Got busted in a state race LOL. Hey I was a teenager so I was not to be trusted! Man your back up motor was hooked up! Nice racing and unfortunate lanes. Do the karts still run in methanol/alcohol? Or Alcohol and a mix of nitro or other fuels?
Everyone pushes the limits on the rules so I get it
The spare is no slouch the other just felt a tiny better
And we run 87 octane pump gas now
