Coco Beach with our drone [Moorea 2020]

- In French Polynesia, on Moorea, there is an island beach resort named Coco Beach. In order to enjoy its diverse activities, you must schedule a shuttle boat from the main island in advance.

We went there with our camera and drone to get a clear view of just what you'll see when you arrive. The restaurant there has a great menu, filled with comfort foods everyone can enjoy. Cocktails of all sorts and of-course BEACH front seating to enjoy all of it.

I was there in that little mall with a grocery store and I was in the Island across Coco Beach where they have the band playing and the food making demonstration. I actually got there for free. There is another way to get to the private Islands without reservations. You need to get in touch with this local guy with a boat. He lives across the street the little mall. I paid the guy just to swim with the Stingrays, but he had to meet some folks in that private island on our way back and I got the extra tour for free.

Is coco beach cash only ? Is that why you need an atm
I don't believe it was cash only. We just wanted to take the extra precaution and have the cash if need be. Their website says they accept cards of all types! Thanks for asking Christian!
you should have tried to participate to a " FOUR TAHITIEN " = they dig a big square hole in the ground and put palm treas brandhes to burn and put several pots with meat and vegetables to cook for the night with sand and treas leaves to cover all the pots - then the whole family and neigbourhood come and eat together - quite an experience - some restaurants do it for their customers

Anywhere in that parking lot, yes! Once you book your trip, they provide you with the parking area and a time. Will you be going some time?
@@MikeandLauraTravel yes we are planning to stay at the Hilton Moorea. Do you suggest renting a car to get there? Any other methods of transportation?
That's awesome Sam! We would highly recommend looking into transportation options ahead of time. I'm certain that when you book your bungalow you can reach out to the front desk and they can get you a ride from the airport, and anywhere around town for that matter. As far as renting a car goes, that depends on your needs for getting around. If you want to do a lot of solo adventuring you may need your own ride. Otherwise the taxis make things pretty easy and the drivers are usually pretty knowledgeable! Safe travels!
