We usually tend to go to French Polynesia sometime in October(shoulder month ). Pricing tends to be a little bit cheaper and the weather tends to be really good. This trip was October 2023.😊
Yes… we contacted the hotel and they set up the taxi. I can’t remember the exact cost. You should be able to ask the hotel that it was something like $50 or something. But you’ll want money for that which you can take out at the airport ATM… or there is one ATM. You can tell the taxi driver to stop by on your way.

Did the hotel let you store your bags while you waited for you room to be ready?
Yes, they have a baggage room… Storing the bags while you wait is not a big deal.
Did you contact the Hilton to set up the taxi from the ferry terminal? Also, how much did it cost?
