All glories to mata Draupadi, she was Sati n great devotee of Lord Krishna. In our Hindu scriptures Mata Draupadi had never insulted any one. She rejected karna because he was in bad company of duryodhana. point to be noted that she had never said suutputra to karna. It should be a personel choice of a woman whom should be her better half. Mata Draupadi wanted a spiritually enlightened husband so that she could offer a devotional service to Lord Krishna in material n spritual life as well. She had been portreyed in negative way in tv serials. I m proud of my being Hindu n have great regard n reverence on our scriptures.

If she was really selfless, with no ego, she would not insult anyone and give up her status as queen immediately to spend her lifetime serving Krishna. In fact, if Arjun, Yuddishitir, and the rest of the gang were truly without ego, they would give up their kingdoms for a life of a Brahmin and live like Buddha serving Krishna. Yes! When Pitamaha Bheeshma says that it was a forest of insults on everyone including him, and Arjuna was only seeing his own insult, it was very powerful! Indeed, Duryodhana was disrespecting all his elders with his behavior knowing that they could not do anything. The fact that Dhritarashtra freed the Pandavas from slavery and gave their Indraprasth back means he was capable of stopping the entire thing in the beginning, but he did not do so. He was himself insanely jealous of Pandavs and that mentality is merely reflected in his own sons.

Where was Gandhari when all this was happening?! Still understandable for Kunti who might have been in IndraPrasth. But again it wasn't a small issue to not have reached her. Feel for Draupadi that no woman was around, would have made some difference maybe. Krishn the only saving grace 👍😰😥😢
draupadi was dragged into the court 😔 no women were there. mahabharat says that pandavs lost because they didn't have their Bhagya/Luck (Draupadi) or Budhhi/Intellect (Krishna) there.

राजा के सामने युवराज क्यों आदेश देने लगा? और अगर दिया भी तो मंत्री ,महामंत्री, बड़े बुजुर्ग, राज्य सलाहकार, राजा समेत चुप क्यों रहे? इस अपराध के दंड अगर दुर्योधन मिल जता तो महाभारत वहीं खत्म हो गया होता.

धन्य थी वो यग्यसैनी जिसने स्वयं जलकर नारियों के सम्मान में इतनी बड़ी आहुती दी धन्य थी वो नारी जिसकी रक्षा को स्वयं माधव द्वारका से दौड़े चले आए धन्य थी वो नारी जिसने अपना सर्वस्व त्याग कर दिया इस परिवर्तन की नीव रखने के लिए धन्य थी वो नारी द्रुपद कन्या पांचाली यज्ञसैनी
Draupadi, what a woman! Never once did she allow the Maharaj, Kings, Kul Guru, Brhamins to make her a das and stood up like a Kshatriya till the end instead of accepting insult unlike her husbands! Bravo!! Not only she protected herself, she released her 5 husbands, sons from lifetime of servitude and got their weapons back to avenge this insult. Curse the entire clan and end it then and there, seeing impending doom, she got little justice for herself and her husbands. Got them their huge kindgom, wealth back in one shot and even questioned how can these Kshatriyas take back the kingdom they were given in charity or as a repentence. Yudishtar did not see it against Kshatriya dharma to accept donated empire instead of winning it back. Convenient. No other wives of Arjun, other Pandavs would have been able to stand up for herself or get back weapons and empire. Draupadi is unique as Ved Vyas said in earlier episode, her will power and self-respect as told by Krishna is unmatchable, and thus only she could withstand the miseries of Pandavs without break down. Draupadi is much better than Gandhari. Both have helpless husbands or husbands who do not want to stand up for the right for various reasons, and Draupadi had 5 such husbands! But Gandhari feels helpless and gives up. Not Draupadi, she makes sure the wavering Husbands walk the talk, is vocal about it, discusses it with Krishan etc. Gandhari, Kunti or any other woman would not had been able to stand up for herself or rescue the husbands and empire like Draupadi. Also, it was prevalent that a Kshatriya gives up his life if he is unable to protect ownself/others self-respect, none of them thought about it at such a grave insult. But Arjun was ready to give up his life when he was defeated by Hanumanji in an archery challenge! Bhishma was right in pointing out to Arjun that Pandavs are responsible for this. Yudishtar followed dharm throughout the game and stopped his brothers from attacking Duryodhan or not speaking loud over Dhritarashtra but he forgot all the dharm regarding marriage, duties and rights of brothers, Husband towards wife and rights of Draupadi's other 4 husbands with respect to their wife. To Bhimsha's accusation, Arjun replied "how could we 4 brothers oppose Yudishtar?". This shows they were mentally tuned to blindly follow Yudishtar whether he follows dharma or commits mistake like here and follows adharma. This blind, unquestionable support from brothers, made Yudishtar not think about welfare of pandavs, their rights towards their wife. Not once in Mahabharat did Yudishtar seek advice of brothers nor modified his startegy considering their advice. And all brothers were yes man to Yudistar which is why they ended almost getting killed several times. Both Yudishatar-Vidur were dharma-incarnated/dharm-putra but both of them were poles apart in dharma on the same issue like gambling, kskhatriya dharm, marriage dharm, war rules etc. Yudishtar gave up dharm by mixing emotions, family relations. He failed to see it was 1 player (Yudishatar) vs 2 players (Shakuni, Duryodhan) in gambling which was injustice. Duryodhan follows gambling rules by offering Yudishatar 1st move but Yudishatar gives up dharm ie gambling rules and tells Duryodhan to go first as he is "priya anuj". It was Vidur who tells Shakuni not to use his 1st set of dice. Yudishtar remembers to follow dharm when he tell pandavs not to raise voice over jyestha pita-shri but restricts pandavs for standing up for themselves and their wife whenever they wanted to, throughout the game. He forgets his dharma as a king and husband to protect his wife and citizen of his empire. Kunti tells Yudishtar earlier that as he is King, his responsibility towards Draupadi is more than his brothers, which he conveniently forgets given his habit of his brothers following him unquestioningly (which on the contrary makes his responsibility much more to not let his brothers follow him to ahdarm). He gets easily swayed by Shakuni when he fakes losing in earlier dice game in Indraprastha. On getting the dice invitation, he clearly feels proud and swayed by the game as "gambling with family is harmless". He starts the game with ill-placed intention, and as if sitting in his drawing room not amongst offical rajya sabha that has several kings. Overconfident and lack of dharma, he was bound to fail, but led his yes man pandav army along with him, though Draupadi was not a yes man and saved herself. Yudishtar only had blind good intention, he did not have niti like Vidur. He did not follow dharm. He gave precedence to emotions, family relations, gave up rules, prevented brothers from following their dharm towards their wife, and failed several times to act with dharm, which is why they almost got killed several times if not for KRishna or Draupadi saving them like here. He may have good therotical knowledge but fails miserably as an expert on dharma. And brothers blindly following him, without question or being able to state an opinion like in earlier episodes - just because he is the eldest born, is why Draupadi had to suffer more than the pandavs. Draupadi and Pandavs were poles apart, she stood up and fought for right and dharm and justice while Pandavs were weak and questioned whether such an immense insult can be brushed off under the rug and avoid dharmic war, because....emotions and family trumps dharma. Kshatriya Draupadi was essential for Pandavs to execute war. Without her, they would had never waged war and would had died suffering insults and adharma and life attempts all their lives.
That is why Draupadi is 'fire born'. Not because she was born from fire, it was because she had to face fire throughout her life. She was virtuous & stronger than The Kauravas or the Pandavas! Calling Arjun as 'Veer' or calling Bheem as 'Mighty' doesn't make any difference, because they were mentally weak, whereas Draupadi was strong. That's why she is Yagyaseni!! 🔥

Plus dice game episode was so wrongly shown . Star plus Mahabharata was fiction , this one is as close to the truth as it can get . The vibe is different

Gandhari is typical "Saas" here, She started speaking only when she realized draupadi was going to curse everyone,. Poor Draupadi she was not even allowed to let go her anger in a form of curse.
@@shwetarose Yes, interesting thing is that even pandavas were not spared from it as they belonged to the same dynasty.. She cursed the entire Kuru dynasty that there will be no living male heir to continue their bloodline. That's why all the Kauravas and their children were killed in the great war. Unfortunately, the victorious Pandavas being from the same dynasty were not spared from this curse either. After the war was over, in a fit of revenge, Ashwatthama, son of Dronacharya (the teacher of the Kauravas and the Pandavas while growing up) killed the 5 sons Draupadi herself had with the Pandavas while they were sleeping, mistaking them as Pandavas. He even hurled the Brahmastra at the womb of Uttara, Abhimanyu’s wife, killing her unborn child, the grandson of Arjuna. However, in order to not deprive the throne of Hasthinapura from an able ruler, Lord Krishna revived the stillborn baby, who came to be known as Parikshit - “the one who was tested”, and eventually ascended the throne. Thus, Draupadi’s curse didn't even spare the victors, and divine intervention was needed to avert a crisis situation.

She rejected karna because he was in bad company of duryodhana. point to be noted that she had never said suutputra to karna. It should be a personel choice of a woman whom should be her better half. Mata Draupadi wanted a spiritually enlightened husband so that she could offer a devotional service to Lord Krishna in material n spritual life as well. Draupadi, what a woman! Never once did she allow the Maharaj, Kings, Kul Guru, Brhamins to make her a das and stood up like a Kshatriya till the end instead of accepting insult unlike her husbands! Bravo!! Not only she protected herself, she released her 5 husbands, sons from lifetime of servitude and got their weapons back to avenge this insult. Curse the entire clan and end it then and there, seeing impending doom, she got little justice for herself and her husbands. Got them their huge kindgom, wealth back in one shot and even questioned how can these Kshatriyas take back the kingdom they were given in charity or as a repentence. Yudishtar did not see it against Kshatriya dharma to accept donated empire instead of winning it back. Convenient. No other wives of Arjun, other Pandavs would have been able to stand up for herself or get back weapons and empire. Draupadi is unique as Ved Vyas said in earlier episode, her will power and self-respect as told by Krishna is unmatchable, and thus only she could withstand the miseries of Pandavs without break down.
Draupadi is much better than Gandhari. Both have helpless husbands or husbands who do not want to stand up for the right for various reasons, and Draupadi had 5 such husbands! But Gandhari feels helpless and gives up. Not Draupadi, she makes sure the wavering Husbands walk the talk, is vocal about it, discusses it with Krishan etc. Gandhari, Kunti or any other woman would not had been able to stand up for herself or rescue the husbands and empire like Draupadi.
Also, it was prevalent that a Kshatriya gives up his life if he is unable to protect ownself/others self-respect, none of them thought about it at such a grave insult. But Arjun was ready to give up his life when he was defeated by Hanumanji in an archery challenge!
Bhishma was right in pointing out to Arjun that Pandavs are responsible for this. Yudishtar followed dharm throughout the game and stopped his brothers from attacking Duryodhan or not speaking loud over Dhritarashtra but he forgot all the dharm regarding marriage, duties and rights of brothers, Husband towards wife and rights of Draupadi's other 4 husbands with respect to their wife. To Bhimsha's accusation, Arjun replied "how could we 4 brothers oppose Yudishtar?". This shows they were mentally tuned to blindly follow Yudishtar whether he follows dharma or commits mistake like here and follows adharma.
This blind, unquestionable support from brothers, made Yudishtar not think about welfare of pandavs, their rights towards their wife. Not once in Mahabharat did Yudishtar seek advice of brothers nor modified his startegy considering their advice. And all brothers were yes man to Yudistar which is why they ended almost getting killed several times.
Both Yudishatar-Vidur were dharma-incarnated/dharm-putra but both of them were poles apart in dharma on the same issue like gambling, kskhatriya dharm, marriage dharm, war rules etc. Yudishtar gave up dharm by mixing emotions, family relations. He failed to see it was 1 player (Yudishatar) vs 2 players (Shakuni, Duryodhan) in gambling which was injustice. Duryodhan follows gambling rules by offering Yudishatar 1st move but Yudishatar gives up dharm ie gambling rules and tells Duryodhan to go first as he is "priya anuj". It was Vidur who tells Shakuni not to use his 1st set of dice. Yudishtar remembers to follow dharm when he tell pandavs not to raise voice over jyestha pita-shri but restricts pandavs for standing up for themselves and their wife whenever they wanted to, throughout the game. He forgets his dharma as a king and husband to protect his wife and citizen of his empire. Kunti tells Yudishtar earlier that as he is King, his responsibility towards Draupadi is more than his brothers, which he conveniently forgets given his habit of his brothers following him unquestioningly (which on the contrary makes his responsibility much more to not let his brothers follow him to ahdarm).
He gets easily swayed by Shakuni when he fakes losing in earlier dice game in Indraprastha. On getting the dice invitation, he clearly feels proud and swayed by the game as "gambling with family is harmless". He starts the game with ill-placed intention, and as if sitting in his drawing room not amongst offical rajya sabha that has several kings. Overconfident and lack of dharma, he was bound to fail, but led his yes man pandav army along with him, though Draupadi was not a yes man and saved herself.
Yudishtar only had blind good intention, he did not have niti like Vidur. He did not follow dharm. He gave precedence to emotions, family relations, gave up rules, prevented brothers from following their dharm towards their wife, and failed several times to act with dharm, which is why they almost got killed several times if not for KRishna or Draupadi saving them like here. He may have good therotical knowledge but fails miserably as an expert on dharma. And brothers blindly following him, without question or being able to state an opinion like in earlier episodes - just because he is the eldest born, is why Draupadi had to suffer more than the pandavs.
Draupadi and Pandavs were poles apart, she stood up and fought for right and dharm and justice while Pandavs were weak and questioned whether such an immense insult can be brushed off under the rug and avoid dharmic war, because....emotions and family trumps dharma. Kshatriya Draupadi was essential for Pandavs to execute war. Without her, they would had never waged war and would had died suffering insults and adharma and life attempts all their lives.
That is why Draupadi is 'fire born'. Not because she was born from fire, it was because she had to face fire throughout her life. She was virtuous & stronger than The Kauravas or the Pandavas! Calling Arjun as 'Veer' or calling Bheem as 'Mighty' doesn't make any difference, because they were mentally weak, whereas Draupadi was strong. That's why she is Yagyaseni!! 🔥

She cursed the entire Kuru dynasty that there will be no living male heir to continue their bloodline.
That's why all the Kauravas and their children were killed in the great war.
Unfortunately, the victorious Pandavas being from the same dynasty were not spared from this curse either.
After the war was over, in a fit of revenge, Ashwatthama, son of Dronacharya (the teacher of the Kauravas and the Pandavas while growing up) killed the 5 sons Draupadi herself had with the Pandavas while they were sleeping, mistaking them as Pandavas.
He even hurled the Brahmastra at the womb of Uttara, Abhimanyu’s wife, killing her unborn child, the grandson of Arjuna.
However, in order to not deprive the throne of Hasthinapura from an able ruler, Lord Krishna revived the stillborn baby, who came to be known as Parikshit - “the one who was tested”, and eventually ascended the throne.
Thus, Draupadi’s curse didn't even spare the victors, and divine intervention was needed to avert a crisis situation.
