That rll is a lifesaver for me! There's a song that has a fast triplet intro that I cant play with the traditional sticking but the rll is much easier and gets the job done
I usually count, 1 & a, not 1 e &, but there are different ways to count it. Just keep in mind that it is only 3 notes, so the « a » you’re referring to doesn’t exist in the triplet, it only exists in the 4 note subdivision (the sixteenth note)
