Nice vid, great weather! I'll catch up on your other vids (YT recommended you) +9:16 I double take there ...i thought it was the most perfect statue of a dog ...like Otto
Wow what a wonderful experience, such a epic coastal hike, truly stunning scenery, I've done sections, mainly north coast of Devon etc, very cool, just come across your channel and have subbed, good health and safe travels, cheers craig
Well done both! An incredible journey and food for soul. Followed your posts on FB and now the movie 👍. Please share the FB link if you are walk-in another path. Take care!
Great video! Thank you for sharing. Can I ask you - did you have difficulties finding dog food on the way - I am considering doing a part of this walk this summer, and my dog needs about 400gr of food daily so I am wondering how often I would be able to buy it/how much I should carry...
Thank you so much! Otto is a little food sensitive, so I didn't buy food on the hike but sent resupply parcels with his food to campsites along the way that I picked up. Worked really well :) I think I really depends on the stretch you're doing. If it doesn't have to be a specific brand of dogfood, you can find food in bigger towns like Bideford, Bude, Newquay, St Ives, Penzance, Falmouth, Plymouth without any problems. Smaller villages have limited options but might still have something that's sold in supermarkets. But in any case (even if you get pet food from the supermarket), you'll probably need to carry dogfood for at least 2-3 days on most stretches....
@@ellihikes thank you for your reply. I'm not from the UK, so want to ask you: what company did you use for sending? And are campsites familiar with this, or do you call them in advance to let them know there is a package coming? Or do you just send it to the address of a Campsite with your name on it?
I actually brought the parcels over in a car with me and only sent them when I was already in the UK before starting the trail. I used Parcelforce/Royal Mail. I would definitely ring them or send a message to ask if they are willing to hold a parcel :)
Well done! I hope to do this route this Summer!
It's a beautiful trail, definitely worth doing 🥰
