Cayenne Pepper is great for serious wounds especially with Comfrey as a poultice. People swear it’s stops the bleeding.
Horsetail is a great vegan source of calcium and silica.

By watching the documentary/ interview called Watch the water, a must watch for the supposed pandemic that's going on, horsetail is the number one in ridding the cobra venom BECAUSE this plant has nicotine.

In that case you need to balance the benefits and potential downsides. Can you purge the body of aluminum before you start to irritate the kidneys? I don't have the answers to that unfortunately, but definitely something to keep in mind.

though I didn't look very hard it seems not available where I live (north-cal foothill) I am looking to find a way to introduce this because I need for spraying the infusion in my orchard. Any suggestion? Maybe california wild plant service? or somthing like that...?

Being from Ontario, Canada I'm not very familiar with your climate unfortunately. It emerges here in the spring, therefore the temperatures are cooler. It also loves water/damp/boggy areas. Some areas consider this plant invasive so ensure your region doesn't to avoid any fines etc. Good luck and keep me posted on how you do!

Your type of "wispy" horsetail looks strikingly different from the bamboo type, but I'm hearing people say all the same things about it. Do they really have identical properties when they don't even appear remotely related to one another?

Equisetum arvense technically actually has two different types of shoots it produces. I've linked an image below to demonstrate. Different parts, same plant. We just use the wispy part that you mentioned.
Now there are different species of Equisetum so its possible you are referring to those? I would need the botanical/Latin name to know for sure.

I'm in Washington state and the stocks here on horsetail are larger in diameter than yours. Yours almost look like a house Fern. What type of species do I have?

    • @SpiraeaHerbs

I am uncertain without a photo. You do have a different growing season/zone than I do so it may even be something I am not familiar with. But try looking up Equisetum hyemale and see if that is a match.
