A tree takes half a day to walk around? I asume you mean a 12 hours and it takes that long for a human to walk around. Average human walking speed is 3.1 mph and if it takes 12 hours to walk around, that means it has a circumference of around 37.2. Dividing that by pi you get a diamiter of 11.8 miles. You could fit an Executor class star destroyer inside the tree and have around 65 meters to spare.

#46 Han and co had stolen the Star Destroyer in the Star Wars comics, it was almost a hulk and nearly got Han, Luke and Leia killed, especially with the assault of that badass special Stormtroopers squad. I think it went from issues #22 thru #25 or #26.
Years later snoke is a man made clone like being by Palpatine, Palpatine came back in a clone body, we now know leia did some force training and lightsaber combat practice, Luke Skywalker god damn dies, and alot after this book
The Palpatine-clones thing actually makes sense. The legends-material is now supposed to be just that. Legends that are told inside the Star Wars universe. That the Empror had secret clones seems to be just the kind of conspiacy theory that usually come up when a celebrity dies. Like Walter Disney freezing his head or Elvis faking his death.
I don't think that "last stand of the Jedi" is true. Remember, in Lost Stars it is stated to be basic history that Mace Windu started the Clone Wars as a secret Separatist leader. I think the last stand is another way of altering history on the Empire's part to make the Jedi seem evil and rebellious against the order that the Empire provides. It could also make the Empire seem more formidable in that they took on the Jedi not through treachery, but through fair battle and won.

The idea of therapy droids kinda makes sense. I mean, PTSD is probably a thing in this galaxy too, since humans are nigh-identical. Gotta be some way to help the probably billions of veterans out there.

#38 was explained in KOTOR 2. the rattaka star map. all rattakan tech used the darkside of the force. therefore any place exposed to the tech for a prolonged period would absorb that darkside energy.
It's still the Imperial center in canon, it was just abandoned after the Battle of Endor because of mass riots and perceived lack of importance by naval leaders. Why go back to try and reorganize when the whole place is chaos?
