I just love the way Neil looks like he's going to explode with apoplectic rage when shouting "the seven habits of the highly infected calf". Awesomely ludicrous
Saw Clutch live with the Sword in Birmingham in the mid/late 2000’s. Me and some friends smoked weed with a few band members after the show. Ironically, friend that brought the weed is a preacher now.
Believe it or not I have felt the power of the holy ghost at a church about 4 years ago and came of the floor just like he did. I got healed I needed neck, shoulder and back surgery. Never been cut but got healed

Can't believe I've never heard of them until last week at work when someone recommended I play "Space Grass" on the jukebox...liked it so much needless to say I began looking up all their other stuff too! They are both rad and diverse...if you're a dummy you can just listen to the awesome drumming and guitar riffs, but if you happen to be somewhat intelligent you will definitely appreciate the witty lyrics too!!!
Now I am telling you TH-cam, like I tried to tell Facebook, either you are a freeman or you are not within this world. See I was born free in this nation and I just can't see for the life of me, what you were born to be before this creation. God, has many faces before men yet, not one that a man could look upon without feeling regret!
Neil's voice has so much gravity it doesn't just tear a hole in space time...HE RIPS IT TO SHREDS!!! That note right after power of the holy ghost..that is a D2. That's a "basso profondo" note. There aren't many Bass vocalists in rock music. The trend has been to try to defy gravity for decades. Neil EMBRACES IT!
Clutch always satisfies! Can I get an amen?! "Tipping cows in fields Elysian..." - you gotta be kidding me!! I consider this record & Blast Tyrant their absolute greatest (out of an amazing 20+ year career).
Deep meaning lyrics, awesome arrangement, great musical and literal culture. These elements make Clutch my favourite band in the whole world and this song is their best outcome.
I can remember watching this video on HeadBanger's Ball one night back in high school... and this was basically what introduced me to Clutch and I've been listening to this band ever since, and that being said, I think it's really pathetic that MTV never plays awesome stuff like this anymore...
Ivan Naumović you’re u don’t even have to play any instrument ,sing or even rap to get big anymore! It all about image, and that sucks. Look at Tyga and migos! Talentless! Metal is still good though! But not as big!
In my opinion, This is one of greatest video's ever made by a very under-rated band. I love these extremely talented guys. I was so happy that my 20 something nephew loves them too. We head bang often to their tunes. :)
La canción que me hace cantar y bailar/rockear como loca con el cel en la mano y auriculares enormes, en la calle. La gente no existe en ese momento. Saludos desde Perú.
The first time I saw this music video was on MTV during some program that I assume was based around heavy rock and metal. There was a band in the studio that didn't speak English, I don't remember where they were from but I think it was a Nordic country. Their new single had a video and it was like women in leather with dog leashes on (some real Smell The Glove stuff). Anyways long story short, that was almost 20 years ago and I don't even remember that band's name. I never stopped listening to Clutch.
I would go to church if this was the pastor and the choir

I have come undone."

I don't get lyric tattoos, but this... I'm getting this one.
You know digesting Clutch lyrics takes a lot. There is a lot of meaning, metaphors, historical context, ancient myths, and a lot of in between.
"Hey what are you going to school for?"
"Studying in Burning Beard, the understanding of Clutch lyrics."
It's always so layered. One song can reference everything from Greek myth to Shakespeare to Frank Zapa.

I'll take that class...

My 10 year old son listened to clutch yesterday, today he woke up with a full beard.
Lol
Goddamn that made me laugh my ass off.
Wow, the same thing happened to my daughter. Lol
Lol.
Hilarious!🤣🤣🤣🤣
The perfect music video for this song.
One of the greatest songs ever written !!!
"Swan diving off the tongues of crippled giants. International business machine"
THAT is hell of a line. Man....I love Clutch.
Every Clutch lyric is the best / most surreal thing you’ve heard since the last Clutch lyric you heard
shadow of the new praetorian... tipping cows in fields Elysian... thats quite profound

@Do0m3rdude1995 Interesting...thanks for the info.
@Do0m3rdude1995 yes I do.
So there was a very famous book back in the day called the seven habits of the highly effective man and I think that’s a metaphor on that
By far the best sounding band I have ever heard live. And the guys were super nice.
Saw Clutch live with the Sword in Birmingham in the mid/late 2000’s. Me and some friends smoked weed with a few band members after the show. Ironically, friend that brought the weed is a preacher now.
WEIRDEST mix of people at their concerts lol. Had country people to metal heads just jamming together
As long as they were nice
I really hope they play this Friday. Ive been a Clutch fan for over 25 years and this is the first time I will be seeing them live. So stoked.
Did they play it?
@@RoastBeefQueefSniffer Yep they sure did. Rocked the damn house.

One of the most underrated heavy rock bands of the last 20 years?
stevenman013 yes.
Diabolical to say the least.
Volbeat is a pile of crap compered to Clutch.
100%
They're a swell bunch, worthy of a relevant commendation
One of the- most- unique bands on planet earth.
One of the best rock bands of past 2 decades.
disagree, but its detracts not from the awesome.
I have to admit his voice is pretty unique.

Look up for Rogaine (Minoxidil 5%). Hope it helps. (:
Just let Neil handle it.

sounds like you need some anthrax, ham radio, and liquor
Keep shaving it will come👍
I was late to the Clutch party and this was the first Clutch song I heard but I became an instant fan.
I love Clutch's humour and have played their albums to death. This video is especially funny.
I love how deceptively simple this song is.
Rhythm and the lyrics are transcendent. Clutch is and forever will be a favorite.
This record easily had the best lyrics and the best songs!
If church was like this - I would go every day and twice on Sunday.

So great. Greasy, intelligent southern rock at it's finest.
Clutch is from Maryland.
BigDaddy Dave still southern sound/influenced
>southern
>Maryland
Pick one.
You don’t have to be from the south to play southern rock.
'no matter what state they're in, they're in a southern state of mind' - darius rucker, when asked about clutch's music and home state

King Salami agreed. Those two albums are their best.
I love how they approach a song like I do a 400lb squat bar.
Finally a decent upload of my favorite Clutch song.
Yeah. Burning Beard is definitely one of the greatest
there is no favorite clutch song.... clutch is not a band clutch is religion ^_^
The angels of God, are not always the shinning light of innocents!

Saw them live the other day In Portland Maine. Their music on here does them no justice, go see them live they're amazing.
I was lucky enough to see Clutch open for Pantera (orig) in Asbury Park and Slayer (Hanneman) at The Trocadero
I love it how it looks like a bunch of lovely human beings. Making the art they love. Consummate professionals

Why this hasn't been used in a movie soundtrack is beyond me.
Electric Worry was used in a triple A game :)
