This is definitely a deep dive in combo training and explanation. I am wondering if the content creator has a guide on how to do Kens heated tatsu and dragon punch those timing and execution is very strict hard to do on an arcade stick.
I have been struggling learning some combos outside of the command list. Thank god I found your video. Adding your stuff to a playlist for my training. I'll be looking for the rest of my favorite characters in SF6.
The best most straight foreword breakdown I've seen and I've seen a lot on Ryu as he is my main. I'm kind of at my limit of just winging it with a few basic combos and Ryu is the last character to do that with. This has given me new hope and it's much appreciated. I'm unhealthily obsolesced with this game and I might get this video to 100k views all by my self.
Ryu also benefits heavily from a "mini run" for a sliver of extra drive gauge, to extend his combos to 6k+ dmg. During your drive rush combos, DR then St. HK Right after that, go forward for about 3-4 frames, then St. MP. This way you gain a little bit of drive gauge, which allows you to drive cancel an extra time.
Great video! I appreciate its structure and information you can find in it: it is well explained as well. It is a great starter guide for all players who want to start playing Ryu.
Thanks. I didn't stop making these videos...its just that I don't have time to game or play Street Fighter 6. I've been working in my IRL stuff and trying to help run a family construction company. So the recent videos I've made were quick uploads. These videos takes a whole commitment to make and takes like 2 weeks for me to make, edit, research and record. But im already exhausted from doing labor so I don't have time right now. I will be back soon with these. I've actually make over 33 videos of this format doing Mortal Kombat so in the spans of weeks and months I will be continuing this series. So thanks for the patience.
Thanks for the video. I'm actually a Ken main user but recently I'm so burnt out using him so I decided to use Ryu for a while. I can't believe I'm sayimg this but Ryu is much more easier to use compared to Ken. I'm always struggling doing combos using Ken however I would say I'm much more comfortable using Ryu now. His combos are not so complicated and his damage are far more stable in my opinion. Now I'm from Rookie to Gold Rank and iming for Diamond Rank ❤
I am a full beginner with Ryu, I just started the game. Is it really _so much better_ to spend three gauge blocks to do 2836 instead of 2680? Without the drive rush+HP the combo is very easy to do, with the drive rush I often miss - making the balance clearly worse. But even if I was getting the combo right all the time, are 156 damages (a 6% increase) worth 3 gauge blocks? While I am sure that mastering the combo is good exercise for combos in general, I am doubting if it is a priority to learn this combo over others.
i am a controller player more specifically playing with an XBOX controller,i am playing with the analog stick and doing drive rush is a little bit tricky because the analog stick itself feels that it has way too much road to go through ---> ----> (twice) in order to activate the drive rush i am always late for that tho
I’ve announced that Chun-Li is next at the end of the video. It all depends on the demand I see. So thanks for the recommendation I’ll keep note of it.

Great video! I appreciate its structure and information you can find in it: it is well explained as well. It is a great starter guide for all players who want to start playing Ryu.
Glad it was helpful!
actually the best tip for the first combo. after you hit the donkey kick hold Mk+hk and keep mashing forward
This is an excellent guide. I don’t know why you stop making this type of videos.

Great video ❤…just a suggestion what about a modern controller guide ?
Thank you ,Jamie plese
Thank u this was helpful
Glad it helped
Bro, could you bring Marisa's combos ?
I’ve announced that Chun-Li is next at the end of the video. It all depends on the demand I see. So thanks for the recommendation I’ll keep note of it.
Are these possible with the modern control scheme? :)
no modern controls are completely different controls
Nice guide, very usefull
Glad it was helpful!
do you have block after first hit on?
yes
Standing punch and crouching punch do not connect for me. The enemy can block
If they can block on time, then it takes you long to connect them. You have to go faster with your inputs.
Is this possible on a ps4 controller? My thumb hurts 😢
It’s hard a bit in controller. I used an arcade stick for the most part
Yo can you make some more combos and for some other characters W guides
I do plan on making more guides. Its all about if I have the time from my full time job to make these.
How did you make it punish
You can set them in setting as always punch counter.
@@MadDoggGames thx lol im dumb haha
this video for cam,my pls
The time you put in this
About 2 weeks it take for me to making them 🙂
