In a statement outside Downing Street delivered in the pouring rain, the prime minister said he had met with the King to request the dissolution of parliament.

Inflation falling just means that prices are rising at a slower rate than previously. Disinflation is a consistent fall in prices.

Finally, this particular government has done something useful.
Not happy with labour doing deals with the libdems but I can't vote for conservatives I have had 14 years of there crap and reform don't stand for many of my values if any so I think a lot of people are like me what party stands for there values and that's what a lot of voters are thinking
It's a good job the public has a soft spot for toilet humour as our Nation finds itself wedged down a lavatory U-bend. It shouldn't be too much of a problem though, they're all good at making U-turns. Expect much of the same with their flabby pledges.
