Beauty Addict Next Door We were supposed to have about 200 guests. 50 or so didn't show up despite them RSVPing yes. Many people also left the reception very early. Because of this, we had a lot of extra food and spent a ridiculous amount of money on a tent that didn't even get used. However, the 4th of July wedding was a big hit with the people who were there and I'm still so glad we chose that day to get married (it was our 5 and 1/2 year anniversary). I say, go for it, just don't get super disappointed if you get a lot of no RSVPs or no-shows, people will probably be traveling or exhausted from the holiday the day before.
Your answer to what you look forward to most about being married was the best I have ever heard. It was extremely sweet and genuine. It's the most wonderful feeling to wake up next to each other. Even though Ricardo and I dated for 10 years prior to getting married, our first year has been an adventure. I literally cried of joy when you text me that Alex proposed. soo im not getting married but my family and i are going on holiday to dubrovnik on friday 17th! i have a question ... i have an eating disorder and started recovery last sunday so a week tomorrow (i live in the uk) and i need to be able to ensure im getting a certain amount of calories to follow a meal plan ... is this possible while there? we're staying at the hilton and will only get breakfast there and then will have to eat out/ buy food from elsewhere or in the hotel restaurant for other meals .... please help

I love how excited you are! If you don't mind me giving you a little wedding advice: don't sweat the small things! I was so so so stressed trying to work and plan a wedding and honeymoon that I cried...often. If I could have focused on the bigger picture I would have not been so stressed. What matters is that you say the vows, have a good dj, and something to drink and you just can't go wrong :) so happy for you!
I'm wondering if there is a place for Alex's belongings in that condo, as all the space seems to be used up. I'm also wondering how he will feel that it is his home also, as the interior decorating is so frilly and girly. Will you be making some changes in decor and space so that the condo looks as if it belongs to a mid-20's married couple instead of a teenage girl?

Tip to not turn into Bridezilla: hire a wedding planner to help! I didn't because I wanted to save money and that's a lot of frigging work! And just remember, nothing is perfect and things may go wrong but it isn't the event you should stress over. . . The REASON for the event should be enough to keep you smiling through any mishap that may occur. Congratualtions!
pantheratigris00 I think also just have a calm mentality about things helps as well. I haven't had my wedding yet, but its pretty much all planned (coming soon!) and I just tried to not let some types of things bother me. I gave general guidelines on the bridesmaid dresses and they picked it out (They're all wearing the same one though) and just other things like that.
Wedding Shows are my favorite! Four Weddings is fun and Something Borrowed, Something New is a cute show about picking a family dress vs. a brand new dress. Often times they come up with creative ways to incorporate the family dress/fabrics/veils etc. into a small part of your own dress which is unique.
I am so in love with your channel right now. It seems like you're really enjoying making vids and it makes it much more fun to watch :) My favourite wedding show is Something Borrowed, Something New - the brides try on their mother's dresses and have them altered/redesigned, then they try on dresses at a boutique and pick their favourite, and then they choose between the borrowed dress and the new dress. I watch it with my mum and my sister - they've already picked what they would do to my mum's dress if there was a UK version by the time I got engaged :)
There's I Found the Gown too, it's a show about a bridal shop that sells dresses on discount. They often have brides on with specific gowns in mind that they can't afford (like designer gowns), or extreme budget brides too, so it's a variety of "types of brides", it's nice! They also show when the shop owners themselves go shop for the dresses from bridal shops all across the country!

I cant be the only one who thinks its super unromantic to choose your own ring design. I mean maybe pick it together sure but choosing it all by yourself...i dont get it. Id rather have a ring that wasnt my absolute perfect dream style but know he actually chose it himself. And if the guy knows the girl well enough surely he'd have a decent idea of her taste anyway.
Alls good That happens a lot where I'm from. It's not so much "permission," although that's what people still say. It's just a sign of respect to let them know that it's happening soon and to air out any possible grievances before it's official. I've had a lot of friends get married, and the parents have never actually been surprised or denied the engagement. And the men I know have always had the ring already.

Congratulations. I have only been maried 6 months and am loving it. Not sure if you get it in the States but "don't tell the bride" is really good. The groom plans the whole wedding and it's a complete suprised to the bride. She doesn't even get to pick her dress.
She has a video on her second channel. It was at an attraction at a fair during Halloween. It was a free fall type of thing. And she just happened to land incorrectly.
Yes, the video on her second channel explains it all. The mattress she is talking about is the one you're supposed to land on when you do a free fall attraction. She jumped, landed on the matress incorrectly & broke her spine.

First of all I just want to say congrats!!!!! I agree with not answering questions about the ring etc. That is PERSONAL. Some people just don't get that we don't have to know every little detail about everything. I sure as hell don't share all of my personal life on here, my fb or anywhere else. You ARE entitled to privacy! When people ask me overtly personal questions and expect me to answer it, I always answer with "how much money do you have in the bank right now?" They ALWAYS reply with "I'm not telling you that! It's none of your business!" And I say "Exactly. Like what you just asked me." Though from what I've seen, some people clearly think that knowing EVERYTHING about a TH-cam personality such as yourself is their right. Guess what folks, Elle is a sweetheart who CHOOSES to share her life with us all. She doesn't HAVE to. Your vids always make me smile. I've gone through a REALLLLLLY horrible time the last few months and watching your vids and a few other peoples has helped me cope. Yes! I found the gown! Love that show! I love how excited you are! If you don't mind me giving you a little wedding advice: don't sweat the small things! I was so so so stressed trying to work and plan a wedding and honeymoon that I cried...often. If I could have focused on the bigger picture I would have not been so stressed. What matters is that you say the vows, have a good dj, and something to drink and you just can't go wrong :) so happy for you!
I'm wondering if there is a place for Alex's belongings in that condo, as all the space seems to be used up. I'm also wondering how he will feel that it is his home also, as the interior decorating is so frilly and girly. Will you be making some changes in decor and space so that the condo looks as if it belongs to a mid-20's married couple instead of a teenage girl?

Tip to not turn into Bridezilla: hire a wedding planner to help! I didn't because I wanted to save money and that's a lot of frigging work!
And just remember, nothing is perfect and things may go wrong but it isn't the event you should stress over. . . The REASON for the event should be enough to keep you smiling through any mishap that may occur. Congratualtions!

pantheratigris00 I think also just have a calm mentality about things helps as well. I haven't had my wedding yet, but its pretty much all planned (coming soon!) and I just tried to not let some types of things bother me. I gave general guidelines on the bridesmaid dresses and they picked it out (They're all wearing the same one though) and just other things like that.
Wedding Shows are my favorite! Four Weddings is fun and Something Borrowed, Something New is a cute show about picking a family dress vs. a brand new dress. Often times they come up with creative ways to incorporate the family dress/fabrics/veils etc. into a small part of your own dress which is unique.
Do her eyes look to be different colours to anyone else? I think the left one looks green and the right me blue...

I am so in love with your channel right now. It seems like you're really enjoying making vids and it makes it much more fun to watch :) My favourite wedding show is Something Borrowed, Something New - the brides try on their mother's dresses and have them altered/redesigned, then they try on dresses at a boutique and pick their favourite, and then they choose between the borrowed dress and the new dress. I watch it with my mum and my sister - they've already picked what they would do to my mum's dress if there was a UK version by the time I got engaged :)

There's I Found the Gown too, it's a show about a bridal shop that sells dresses on discount. They often have brides on with specific gowns in mind that they can't afford (like designer gowns), or extreme budget brides too, so it's a variety of "types of brides", it's nice! They also show when the shop owners themselves go shop for the dresses from bridal shops all across the country!

I cant be the only one who thinks its super unromantic to choose your own ring design. I mean maybe pick it together sure but choosing it all by yourself...i dont get it. Alls good That happens a lot where I'm from. It's not so much "permission," although that's what people still say. It's just a sign of respect to let them know that it's happening soon and to air out any possible grievances before it's official. I've had a lot of friends get married, and the parents have never actually been surprised or denied the engagement. And the men I know have always had the ring already.
I picked my ring design when I was shopping with my mom and then she told my husband. I didn't know he went and got that same ring though.
A lot of modern couples do that. It's practical especially when your finances are already entwined before marriage.

Congratulations. I have only been maried 6 months and am loving it. Not sure if you get it in the States but "don't tell the bride" is really good. The groom plans the whole wedding and it's a complete suprised to the bride. She doesn't even get to pick her dress.

Yes, the video on her second channel explains it all. The mattress she is talking about is the one you're supposed to land on when you do a free fall attraction. She jumped, landed on the matress incorrectly & broke her spine.

I agree with not answering questions about the ring etc. That is PERSONAL. Some people just don't get that we don't have to know every little detail about everything.
