- Stemming from a viewer question, I break down my likely no chance of ever happening in most cases wish list for the next round of celebrities to get turned into G.I. Joes...or Cobras for the G.I. Joe Classified Series line.

My pick: Jake The Snake Roberts. Occasional Cobra mercenary. He is a snake wrangler codenamed "Snake Master" Known associate Croc Master. He puts on entertaining snake shows for Cobra Commander but also does special missions. Sometimes he does them for Zartan and the Dreadnoks. He uses multiple snakes as his weapons to disrupt and create chaos.
Oooh, I love that idea of Jake as part of the Dreadnok associate crew. And he makes PERFECT sense to roll with Cobra!
This was a fun question. Dwayne Johnson would've been my first pick too. I might've gone with the name Brahma, but yeah, same basic idea. It might be cool to have him sleeveless though, or a sleeveless version at some point, to show off those tattoos.
As for a wrestler for Cobra, I'll go with Rhea Ripley. I think she'd make for a cool Dreadnok (or maybe a Destro opereative), and she has many cool looks to choose from. I couldn't think of a good codename, so I'll just go to her move set and suggest either Riptide or Prism. If she's Riptide, she could have an aquatic specialty.
I love the Simone Biles pick. I think I'll go with pretty much the total opposite of Vault and recruit my man Diesel to the Joe team. That's right Shaquille O'Neal. Diesel would be a demolitions expert. Other specialties may include hand to hand combat and short-range weapons.
For my next Cobra I'll go with Bolo Yeung... or maybe his son David as a martial arts expert with Kung-Fu to rival the likes of Quick Kick and strength to go toe to toe with Sgt. Slaughter and Roadblock. His codename, of course would be Bolo.
My next Joe is actually an olympian, an actor, and wrestler, none other than Ronda Rousey! As an experienced Judoka, Knockout would be the Joes' newest trainer as well as infiltrator.
Man, this isn't that easy. Okay, how about another one of the toughest women I've seen in sports today? Portia Woodman-Wickliffe is a New Zealand Rugby player and she could definitely run through more than a few Joes on the battlefield. Look her up. She has some nice video clips on her IG. She is of Māori decent, so that would add some interesting diversity. I don't know a good codename for her. I looked up the Māori word for tough and got Uana. The only other things that come to mind are things like Train or Wrecker. I think a fun weapon for her could be an iron rugby ball on a chain as a nod to The Fridge's old accessory.
Ha! I peeked at your Joe pick and I kinda want to steal it. Zendaya was an inspired choice and I love Maven as a codename... but I'll go with Luka Dončić as Bullseye. Bullseye would be a sniper. For the record, I'm not saying he's the best shooter, although he's not bad... the codename came to me because he was called El Matador when he played in Spain.

I've been pausing between your picks to write this and not only did Dave Chapelle cross my mind, but so did Taylor Swift (as well as Travis Kelce), and I knew you were gonna name her as soon as you passed on Dave and started your preamble. I'll go with Marshall Mathers as Shady, a Cobra undercover agent.
Maan, I love those choices. Ripley sounds like a perfect Dreadnok and she's got a great name all lined up!
Checked out the folks you mentioned I wasn't familiar with and yeah they would be fun additions! I like the idea of Bolo and David as a Cobra father and son duo. That would be neat and I like the idea of adding a woman of Māori descent in the mix too!

Love Vault! Maybe she could have a Billy club like Daredevil that shoots a line out so she can zip up to high places and when she's ready for hand to hand combat, it can expand in size to a full staff (or pole vault 😉).

I'd say sure, Quick Kick could win a fight on any given day, like in the cartoon. But Storm Shadow is absolutely better, like in the comic.
Speaking of Duke lol, did you see the Mezco Duke, Deluxe action figure. I’ve already ordered one and of course of Cobra Commander. I bought the Destro version of the is action figure. As I’ve gotten to be an adult, I’ve come to have sympathy for Cobra Commander. All he wanted to do was RULE THE WORLD and he was undermined by his subordinates. You just can’t find good help anywhere 🤦🏾♂️

I've got plenty of time for Retaliation, but Rise of Cobra was a rough first (and only) watch for me.
G.I. Joe Team:
Lucy Lui or young Michelle Yeoh or young Angela Mao, as China Doll. A Martial Artist and Weapons Master.
Sofie Dossi as Slinky. Her specialty is infiltration as she can slip into almost anywhere, she can shoot arrows with her feet, so, maybe she can fight with 4 Weapons at a time.
L.L. Cool J, well, we don't have a true Navy SEAL, as Sam Hanna he's also a Powerhouse!
Young Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, or other Batman actor as the Bat! A master Hang Glider expert, and also can arm his Hang Glider.
I agree with Simone Biles or Dominique Dawes! I would love a Gymnast and also, the Joe's definitely need African American Female member! It's all White or Asian girls. They would be different from Sofie Dossi because they can do all the flips and dodging. Incredibly hard to hit.
Cobra;
Jim Carry as Rubberband. A genetically altered man with limited stretching abilities, kind of like Dhalsim of Street Fighter. A semi rubbery face can delute much of the impact of punches, and he can punch and kick someone from 6-8 feet away.
Nicolas Cage as the Bird Man! Cobras top pilot and the only Cobra that can match a Joe in the air. What would set him apart is that he has a 'Code of Honor' in that he won't go after parachutes, won't attack a downed foe, will salute worthy opponents, and lots of other things. He fights for Cobra either because they saved him from gambling debts, that they rigged in the first place, or maybe they have his sick daughter, and only they can help her, because maybe it's some bizarre 'Snake Formula'.
Zoe Saldana as the Vixen, or Mink to avoid copyrights. A cat burglar, master thief, hacker, and seductress. Also, expert with knives and bladed weapons.
Dolph Lundgren as The Russian! Big powerful ex-KGB Spetsnaz officer! He'd be a Bodyguard for Cobra Commander (a known Coward), or, he can used in numerous other roles! Expertise in Weapons and Tactics!
Donnie Yen as the Master! Recruited to replace the unreliable Storm Shadow, who keeps breaking his brainwashing, the Master serves the function of trainer and occasional combatant! Not truly Evil, but he can be bought. As long as Cobra pays him he'll be loyal.
So, what do you think about my list? Oh, and yours was excellent! Can't disagree about any of them!

After the death of his brothers Fritz convinced Sergeant slaughter to let Kevin train with the Joe’s. Kevin liked it he ended up joining slaughter hand picked team . He earned his nickname because like his father he knows no fear .
Here’s my cobra : he goes by many names but you can call him ace . He is a from pro wrestler named Bob orton jr . He joined Cobra when piper did he drive the piper’s special hot rod rattler and this cowboys loaded and ready for joes .
