I Served & Lived here for 3 years with the 2nd & 30th Inf (2/30th) from (1986 to 1989) as the Battalion Driver for Sgt Major Benton. My Barracks Bldg. & Mess Hall are still there. I'm shocked at how it looks now this is so nostalgic for me & has GREAT memories. Best time of my young life Thanks for posting this trip down memory lane.

CSC 2/30 4.2 mortar platoon 82-84, we later were reformed over to HHC 2/30 81mm Mortars .

Danke für den Rundflug. Ab August 1976 war ich vier Jahre in der Ledward Kaserne stationiert. Mein Gebäude stand dort, wo im Film die großen Neubauten sind. Ich habe schöne Erinnerungen an die Zeiten. Es schmerzt ein wenig zu sehen, wieviel der Kaserne weg ist - ist aber gut so.

Alles verändert sich dort, am Ende werden nur wenige Bauten stehen bleiben

I was. Stationed there 1980 to 1982 hhc 1/ 30 inf lots of good times not much left I would like to go back some day the German people were very friendly God bless everyone.

I was stationed here in 72- 73 1/10 Arty Barracks were in front of the dispensary.

yea i was too. use to love going to the top ten downtown and having a few biers to let of some steam.
