HALO 3 HALO:REACH siege of madrigal (extended version) sorry, i forgot to mention and when some people mentioned it i will write down the disclaimer: this is not my song
This was played at my Great-Grandma funeral because of me,Everyone asked me what song shall it be, so i said this. cause, basically, this has summed out hers, and my life...she was as much of an grandma as ill probably ever have again... Miss you grandma.
@@albal156 You can flip the banshee with grenades before the elite gets on it during the Two Betrayals mission. It’s hard to do at first but you get used to it.

same here man, I remember getting all my friends together and doing random things in multiplayer like trying to win on sandtrap using just the elephant, I remember me and my buds trying for countless hours to get the scarab gun in Halo 3, and the satisfaction after we got it, I remember flying to the top of the citadel and listening to this, I Miss the good halo, "Send me out... with a bang" Srg, Jonson, Halo 3
yes ... before it was completely beautiful to play halo, I was going to play in a game room where you could play with people from the same room, it was very fun, quite a lot, I enjoyed it a lot, everyone in that room, even if we played to win, It was quite fun and we only talked about halo, it was small but they are moments that I will not forget, nor the moments that I had fun playing in cooperative offline with friends, cousins and brothers, as you say, it is like a friend, a good friend.
343 esta haciendo un trabajo brutal con Infinite, es momento de reconocerle las buenas cosas que ha hecho por la franquicia y es que ellos se lo toman como un estilo de vida y lo tratan con mucho amor.
I've been listening to this over the years, and as time went on, I've come to use this song to vent. It's a massive shame that this is being forgotten, its so beautiful
I found this song in halo 3 with my old friend i had fun with, the old times were fun, not just the campain, it was xbox live with my buddys and the clan i was in, i loved halo 3 and reach multyplayer, its just this song takes me back when me and my friends had a good laugh on halo, mostly easter eggs
When I listen this masterpiece, I cry à little because in my childhrood, I play Halo on Xbox with my best friend. So many fun. I want to revive this périod. Sorry for my English
I remember from my childhood seeing a scene of brutes VS marines and this song was playing, as it went through eventually it got to master chief being held up by a chieftain the whole thing stops. Master chief then raises his head and holds up a sticky grenade. Screen goes black and I scream "MASTER CHIEF DON'T DIE!"
If Master Chief dies... the series dies... and we will never move on... keep fighting John, Spartans never die. But I remember going “holy fuck!” Too when I thought he’d die to save others with that grenade.
HALO... it has partly made me who I am today. The music... the story... and the man in the suit in HALO 1-3. and more. HALO will always be in a special place in my heart.
I hope all of you were as or almost as happy with destiny as you were with halo like I was. we will never forget the magnum snipes of halo:ce, the first time playing as an elite on halo 2, or the mongoose tricks of halo 3.
I love this... Bring back many eye flooding memories. I am a gamer at heart, more than anything. I have learnt so much from people who don't even exist. But Halo? Bungie? I have gamed all of my life. And I have always, ALWAYS, owned a Halo game. I'm sorry, but for those people out there that call this series, this franchise, no it's more than that, this unforgettable experience of ideas, works and theories. This monument. Has brought me more happiness and memories than anything. I love Halo.
imagine playing playing any of the halo's on legendary and you remembered from old days you could trigger a hidden music queue so you work your ass off to get it done. once it starts playing you feel a sence of peace and happyness. and then feel sad the music dies down and shortly after continue on your voyage that is HALO.
Halo brought us together. With a community of millions of people around the world, Halo still must live on to this day. But we must still remember the games that made Halo what it is today. Nothing can ever be the same, never be like how it was in 2007. Never Forget, December 7, 2018. Hope you all still listen to this song and play these games, making more memories.
When listening to this in Halo 3, with the wrecks of the two scarabs and preparing to kill truth... Looking back at all the chaos and destruction, thinking about humanitys fight... This song just gives you the sense of that sadness and desperation... Marty O'donnell is one hell of a composer.
LOL...I didn't to truly appreciate Halo, until I read Halo Fall of Reach. The detailed description of the spartan II augmentation is cruel but awesome. Don't forget that the chance of death or permanent disfigurement is higher than you'd want.

@88472456, Yup Johnson was an ORION, so was Ssgt. Byrne (from Halo Contact Harvest) and a few others. Because, after the ORIONs were deactivated, they ususally went into certain other branches of the UNSC, so Byrne and Johnson went into the Marines, and the others went to other branches.

Honestly I feel this is a much more touching song then that of its earlier versions.
I dont find the Halo series that great really, but the music is just spectacular.
i always think of somthing sad when i listen 2 music like this i don't no why
this song has been in every halo.
This. This is beautiful.
something worthy to put in halo 4.
This is being played at my funeral w/ rainy mood.
H4Frozen Madrigal is also a name of an putter colony, and was besieged and I believe was defended by Preston cole himself
I think this is one of the few songs that keeps me playing piano.
Full of emotions.
I love this composition.
