This is basically just your average MMO, but in VR. Somehow, it feels much more satisfying, though. In other MMOs I play, I feel like I'm just going through the phases. Pick up this quest, then that, then move on to the next location as I progress. Here, despite it being structurally the same, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I have to learn how the combat works in order to actually take down enemies. You can't just run around effortless killing stuff at first. You need to be mindful of your health. Then you've got stronger enemies or groups that will definitely destroy you if you approach them too early. So, I'm here doing the usual grind, but feeling like I, as a person, am getting stronger, rather than just leveling up in a game. That might largely be due to the fact that VR can give a good sense of emersion, but I really do feel a great sense of accomplishment went I level up or acquire new gear.

So one thing I've been wondering: if your combat skills are all based around gesture controls do you have the ability to customize what skills you're using or is it like "ok if you're playing the mage class with DPS you always have these specific skills, if you're playing as support you always have these specific skills, etc?" I think instead of making you choose a specialization it would be a lot more fun and interesting if you picked mage vs. melee and each class has like 30 different skills you unlock and you can pick any combination of 4 skills at a time. Then you could be DPS but have a heal spell, or you could play support but with a tank-role spell, etc. I think how much I'm interested in the game is going to heavily depend on how much customization you can do with your skillbar because I'll definitely get bored playing the same 3 archetypes (DPS, support or tank) with the exact same pre-defined skill builds.
The 2 main classes are pretty much range or up close fighting. Then the 3 roles each one can do. From what I've played, I'm not sure if the 6 individual roles have totally unique attacks, but there is a menu for changing what happens when you do the gestures. So even if the melee roles all have the same attacks available I can assign what I want or need as I level up and unlock or buy them.

I know I'm gonna love this game but with all the people getting in and we still can't you can't not be upset for paying for something that doesn't work. They had a lot of time to fix these things. I'm sure the people that can't get on wouldn't be so pissed if we didn't have all these other people making it look amazing.
it’s understandable to be upset about it, but it’s a temporary issue. server limitations and capacities, especially for smaller studios is a thing. even big mmorpgs owned by big companies have server issues and capacity issues at times. it’s part of the process, especially for a game that just launched.
@@completelyaverageviewer yeah I definitely get that but I don't like being lied to man.....I saw a lot of fish in the game trailer but I didn't even see a tadpole in game. I mean where does it end?
This is why I never buy games at launch, and never pre-order 👀
@@chiefrunstraincamacho5977 this is a big reason why you always keep expectations low, don’t preorder, and only base your purchase off the released product.
dude I don't need to see your avatar just show me gameplay while you talk
I only managed to play half an hour, then my game crashed, and then the servers encountered the capacity issue and then everything went to shit.
There was too many people joining at once so the servers crashed. They are working on it.
I can't even log in
The fact the weapon doesn't even connect to the characters properly is laughable.
I just enter to the game 😎👌
I'd rather play rec room
i latterly can’t get in the game
Servers are down. Go to their discord to stay up to date with whats happening
I don't trust this review at all. This game looks awfully generic and unfinished.
Played for about 2 hours today, its really fun
Well, unfinished, of course it isn't, it's an early access ^^
True. Looks like a small indie smartphone game.
Mama just mad cause he don’t have 30 bucks to spare
It's actually really good mate . High quality. I'm a skeptical one so you know.
That other guy makes me want to dislike this video. He's like "I don't want to grind." AKA saying I want everything instantly and don't want to put in any work. Very annoying.
This game is trash!!!
