I've had this model for 3 months now. It's so much fun to build. I actually made photo etched parts for the rotors and made a few extra part. Brake lines and so forth.
You totally did this print justice. Love the end result and now you have directed me to more things I want from the cults page. Sigh. I keep telling myself I will not get into printing I will not get into printing I will not get into printing.....
Many thanks, I'll check them out. Hopefully I'll find someone that can do a good job ...enjoyed the video ..and have subscribed to see more...enjoy your modelling 🙂
I was looking forward to this project, as you first announced you will build it. It looks really great, and you never stop to surprise by the amount of detail you give to your builds. I hope you will build also the M1 from micromachine. Keep up the good work Tom. 👍
I have waited for you to do motorcycles as it is another passion of mine although I have never build a model of a motorcycle before... This is epic - I would love to see more motorcycles on your channel!
After watching your videos for a long time, I just noticed that you don't have filters on your spray booth. Any particular reason? On an apart, yours are among a handful of videos I can watch without getting sleepy. Great work ,as always .Thanks,
The filters help filter the paints, i understand that. Though they also make it harder for the booth to suck the fumes out of my room. So i decided to remove them for better suction in order to get the fumes out as soon as possible, and have better ventilation.
I agree with you on the print resolution; I would rather print as fine as possible than deal with the layer lines after. How much shorter could the life span really be?
Thank you for the great video. I love building bikes. I'm a bit old. So I wonder if you know of somewhere that would actually print it for me ?...Once again thanks for the video
I've just downloaded the file...I was given a lot of options and companies that will print it for me...but the options are mindboggling to someone who isn't 3d literate. Maybe you could make a suggestion to a smooth finish like yours. And what material should I choose...I've had quotes from $55 - 3500 😳...but I've no idea what is ok for this project...many thanks Martin
So you cracked your radiator in half. Couldn't you have just reprinted it? Also think you should build that BMW M1 with the red white and blue stripe livery.
Yes i could have just re printed it. However. That would have set me back another day or 2. And then the video could not be finished and uploaded for another week.
Nice build and great video. Scale modeler here that is scared to jump into 3D printing for fear of the rig becoming obsolete in 6 months. Has the laser lithography tech reached a plateau or is it still getting dramatically better with each gen? I love the green and gold. I bet dark brown upholstery would make it look even better.
It does get better. But marginally. No worries of it being super outdated with the next model. Even the early machines still work fine, they are just slower with lower resolution.
Due to an audio glitch the video needed to be re uploaded, sorry for the confusion and delay. Enjoy!
The music change was nice. Great work on the model.
very realistic, nice choice of color
definitely brown seat and handles, but looks good in black too, Keep up the good work
This is a Very Cool looking bike!!! Thanks for sharing
Когда несколько лет назад я попробовал собрать мотоцикл, я не знал, что это станет моей любимой темой в моделизме. 👍
as an Australian, I thoroughly approve of the colour scheme and wish someone would build this for real.

looking good!! I would have red and black to make chassis stand out.

One bike I'd love to see 3d printed is the 1985 Honda Goldwing GL1200 LTD. 😀
