All Big Techs know everything about you. It's no different with Linux, if they want to they can easily find out EVERYTHING about you. If government departments do this, imagine who owns the operating system!!! Thank you very much for giving your opinion!!!

But before going in 100% ghost mode, one should always consider their "threat model". That is, how much do you need to hide.
Do you only want to hide from advertisers, or are the wanted by the government. Those are 2 very different "threat models" that requires very different measures.
@powerdude_dk Of course!!! But for those who understand algorithms and invasions, we are not completely protected, even on a desert island!!! As Sir. McAfee once said, the only thing that saves us from an invasion is the use of a phone that does not access the internet, like the old flip top, and earlier ones!!!!
