Не надо забывать,что девочка имеет уникальный голос,. Диана открыла дорогу в волшебную страну,обращается к,реченька,и плывет по течению,,,!!!!
Если быть точным, не у реки, а у почивших родителей. Река, ручьи в древней Руси считались границей между миром живых, и миром мертвых. Девушка-сирота шла к реке , и просила благословения у мертвых родителей и ждала какого-нибудь знака, слова в песне не колыбнешься - огорчают, нет знака. Это обрядовая песня, ее пела на свадьбе невеста-сирота. Постановка обалденная, ведь в лесу, в реках жили мифические существа ( кикимора, леший и др.) они путали человека и играли с ним, могли и погубить. Короче, я в восторге от этого выступления по всем позициям!👍🏻

She is trained from an early age. Because of her troubled first years she wouldn't speak, so her legal guardian brought her to singing, through whitch she gained her speech.
For me she combines a strange Russian Natives throat singing (Tuvan?) with the classical trained voice, but without falling into one or the other. Like she has both techniques down or is familiar with and creates her own unique tone for her purpose. There are also definitely some jodeling and native North American tribe tones. Together she creates an marvelous, emotional sound experience that draws you in and the language she is singing in becomes unimportant for the projection of her feelings. I'm always just stuned, like a deer in spotlights.

Diana was 14 when she sang this. When she was younger (10-12?) she entered a contest where she yodeled and they didn't buzz for her. I've always thought she did this to prove they were wrong because here she yodels and they love it.
