@@altf4295 once upon a time, youtube went on a warpath against any and all ASMR channels due to reports of underage ASMR or such. So various channels got nuked or demonetized for a while. Hololive wad indeed affected, with the main channels affected being Roboco's, Aki's, Mel's, and Choco-sensei's. (Noel wasn't as affected as it was winding down by the time she debuted)
But those channels' growth suffered for various reasons among which a struggle to find a new main niche. IMO Cover has yet to do enough to offset those 'losses'.
I often hear before they happened Choco-sensei was indeed most popular.
@@altf4295 it was so bad at one point I think like 50% of Choco's content was either taken down or forced to be made private, and she received multiple shadow bans which is why she was forced to make a 2nd channel. Tl;dr: YT decided her power was far too great to be left unchecked :/
