This type of rod has separate parts, which are just screwed in, and can be removed by loosening the screw. There are many types of rods or tracks available. I'm not sure which type you have. Is it marked with a brand name, or any other markings?
Hi Chuck, thanks for your comment. In our effort to keep our videos concise, we typically only cover one subject at a time. This video intended to show how to string a new traverse rod which is used in commercial settings quite often, vs repairing or replacing a cord in a telescoping traverse rod. That would be a good topic for another video clip though. We will put that on our list! Thanks for watching!
Thats completely ridiculous. That type of traverse rod is very uncommon and normally when replacing cord in a traverse rod, it is very inconvenient to remove the master carriers. You must do it with all the parts, slides and carriers left in.
Thank you so much! This is the best explanation I could find till date about Traverse Rod Stringing!
This 10 year video has saved me big time! Many thanks
You did really well! That was very clear and straightforward. Thank you!
Thank you so much
Greetings from Guadalajara Jalisco México
Well done, clarified a normally murky task!
This is great! Is there also a video on how to string a one way draw? thanks!
If I am doing a one way draw, do I go from master to the end pulley and then to the other end pulley?
Thank you so much! This was so helpful! By far the best presented video on Traverse Rod Stringing =D
best video I saw on the subject
You saved the day!! Thank you

You have a normal traverse rod which rowley has failed to show you. The ends on your rod are not meant to be removed or do they have to be.
I was looking for this kind of videos
THANK YOU SO MUCH
