I jwatched the carbon frame video before this and I think you said the carbon used is T1100KS. Now I’m curious to know why T700 and T700S is used for the rims if the 1100 is stronger and stiffer? Is the cost-to-effectiveness not worth it? Thanks for these videos. It’s awesome to have a manufacturer making such informative videos.
Hi @Scott Counsell , Yes, you are correct, the Frames do use a T1100KS, thanks for watching and learning, each carbon material, like Aluminum and steel has it's properties that make it better for a certain structure, as well as a cost as you mentioned. We could do a rim with T1100KS, but it would really increase the rim cost, and BMX hasn't been ready for that yet. As well as a new mold to adjust to the Tensile and Yield of the material which will start to happen in the future as people get more performance orientated and see benefits, keep your eyes peeled.
May I ask, so with a stiff Carbon rim would then a 14G stainless double butted spoke are recommended because to deliver some flex under a critical situation, while a Ti spoke would break a hub flange?

Really enjoying these videos and learning a lot! Keep em coming!
Thanks, will do! Appreciate the comments and you watching!!
Excellent and straightforward.
Tell us more about the big bie 26 options for carbon wheels. Can you use V-Brakes or just disc?
We actually have both options! You can run V Brakes or Disc depending upon the model you get!

I have never seen a Ti spoke break a hub flange, usually the Ti Spoke breaks at the "J" bend.
Whats the Rider max weight capacity
When we will have SX store in Brazil??=D
When will the RCR rims be back in stock?
Very soon!!
I don’t have money for anything carbon 😂
Either do I!! :P

I blame my self for watching "the last of us" tv series too many times; now the resemblance from Bill Ryan to Pedro Pascal is unavoidable... jeje 😆
Ha!! I will take that as a huge compliment!! Thank you!!
@@SupercrossBMX. by the way Supercross BMX products are the BEST!
