Stovetop popcorn is SIGNIFICANTLY better than microwave popcorn. In Southern Europe, it's all stovetop all the time. When I had microwave popcorn for the first time it was a major culture shock. Maybe it's because I'm used to just lightly salting my popcorn. With stovetop, you can really control what goes on it to your taste.
In today's episode, Felicia Day dresses up in an adorable outfit and swears like a sailor. There needs to be an action figure of this episode with Real Swearing™ feature!
Now, this is my kind of Co-Optitude. Edited down to funny parts, playing obscure games, no boring guests, both of you playing all the time. Ryon's channel should be this as well.
Having been able to catch more of Ryon and Felicia's livestreams, the "you're making me uncomfortable" thing is not an isolated incident. XP Well done Felicia Day and *****! This episode was simply amazing. :D
Quiff quiche and cancer corn....... Sounds like some interesting DLC, hahaha! This episode was amazing, you guys were on fire! :D Felicia's so hilarious when she starts getting competitive!
FYI -- The reason why the stove and oven look so small is likely that this game was made in Japan, where stoves are a lot smaller, and there are no big ovens like there are in America and other places. The tiny oven underneath the stove top is actually a fish cooker. There isn't really an oven-cooking culture in Japan. If it can't be made in a toaster oven or the fish oven, it largely isn't made. Anyways, awesome video guys!
Mochi are basically cakes made from rice smashed to the point where it can be formed into small balls. It's common to eat them with ice cream but you can also eat them with soy sauce or even cheese. Delicious!
Queef ingredients: Combine the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender. Layer the spinach, bacon, and cheese in the bottom of the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture on top of very willing girl.
To be honest, when thinking of American food, junk food does come to mind first.. Maybe a nice recipe for ribs or such? Here in the Netherlands I gues we don't have that much typical Dutch food either. Well we have many kinds of cheese, beer, lots of deep fried snacks, clambs and Mayonaise. We have many other sorts of sauce too. Personly I tend to prefer a nice lunch over dinner. Just some nice baked bread with salmon or carpaccio, and luxuriously dressed up with all kinds of ingredients that make it unique to the place you order it from. Anyone who ever visits Breda in the Netherlands, go eat lunch at "Zeezicht". You are welcome.
american food can actually be very very good. the southern BBQ is probably the most famous people dedicate their lives to getting the spices in their dry rubs and sauces just right.
"ontbijtkoek" is really Dutch, as is salty liquorice, "stroopwafels", "vlaaien", "kroket" and "kaassoufflé". Potato stews or "stamppotten" are quite Dutch, but are also German in origin.
@3:30 that isn't an oven but an indoor gas grill for fish. Source: Live in Japan and have one, they are amazing. Plus, I had to buy and oven and it's tiny compared to American ovens.
I would pay cold hard cash for "Cooking with Anuss and Poopie". If I were to add a dish to the American cookbook, I would add the immortal (shelf life) classic: Mac 'n' Cheese, made with squeezy cheese. Yyyyuuuck
The thing about American food is that it's not universal throughout America, it's regional. Cajun, BBQ, and Soul Food all fall within the umbrella of "American" but we don't think of them like that because they come from particular regions of America. So, if I was going with an American dish, it would definitely be a barbecue application. I'm bettting working a smoker would make for a cool minigame.
You can actually make popcorn like that. My friend's family buys containers of popcorn kernels and that's basically how you make it. (Except they put vegetable oil and some kernels in a large pot and put the lid partially on then just let it heat. So no moving the pot like in this)
Seeing people talk about "American" foods in the comments just makes me think our cuisine (such as it is) is effectively stereotyped as "imitation German".
Yes, you can make popcorn like that. I make popcorn on the stove in a wok with coconut oil and it is literally the best, fluffiest popcorn I have ever had. Edit: Now Im craving my popcorn with my homemade popcorn seasoning... I have to go make some, thanks a lot, Days!
I'd guess the little slot in the stove is more of a broiler for fish...or whatever else you want to broil. Cooking Mama the shit out of your creme brulee!
For American food, I would include Chinese Take-out and Pizza. As anyone who has been to China and Italy know, what we call Chinese and Italian food in the US is NOT what they eat in these nations. They are purely American inventions, and thus count as American cuisine.
Hey Felicia & Ryon - love your videos. Reminds me of the old days with my brother haha! Quick question - how do you guys record audio? Do you use those hidden personal microphones? Let me know your recommendation. Thanks!
Things are heating up on the Co-Optitude set! Now Felicia & Ryon are cookin' with gas: bit.ly/1vFinLy #CookingMama
"Julia Child, come into me!"
At least take her out for dinner first.
New show idea: Let's Explore With Ryon Day. A comedy segment where Ryon forces guests to extrapolate on their ill-conceived statements.

This was a funny episode loved sibling competitiveness that showed up haven't seen that lately in other games you guys have done!!
Haha, I did NOT expect that game! You guys look amazing too! Especially pin-up Felicia :D
In today's episode, Felicia Day dresses up in an adorable outfit and swears like a sailor.
There needs to be an action figure of this episode with Real Swearing™ feature!
Queef quiche and cancer corn! The next meal available at the Day Restaurant.
"Sliver on the weirdly pointed yam"-Ryon day.
Carrot Ryon. Carrot. XD One of my fav episodes
Now, this is my kind of Co-Optitude. Edited down to funny parts, playing obscure games, no boring guests, both of you playing all the time. Ryon's channel should be this as well.
"Cooking with Anuss and Peupie" laughed my ass off!
Your sibling rivalry is awesome. I love it when the two of you get really competitive lol
'Shave me like one of your French girls.' LOL
Lost it at "Cooking Mother" kit and the "brief introduction" on the back xD This was a great episode!
How are you so good at cooking, you guys? This was a gem to watch, one of the best you've done so far. *Ahh, cook it. C-cook it real good!*
Having been able to catch more of Ryon and Felicia's livestreams, the "you're making me uncomfortable" thing is not an isolated incident. XP
Well done Felicia Day and *****! This episode was simply amazing. :D
Hotdogs will give you the worst burps or the wurst burps?
This is one of the funniest Co-Optitude episodes that I've seen in a while! :D
So much fun! Playing this game (and drinking) with Hannah Hart would be a great "worlds-collide" moment.
Omg the Sweeney Todd song and spatula. Best part of the episode.
I have never laughed this hard during an episode of Co-optitute ever. Awesome, guys!
This is also one of my favorites! Thanks!!!
Quiff quiche and cancer corn....... Sounds like some interesting DLC, hahaha! This episode was amazing, you guys were on fire! :D Felicia's so hilarious when she starts getting competitive!
This was fabulously hilarious! Thank you for making this show!

9:23 omg FD breathe or you're going to pop a blood vessel there! lol...
Can we have a shirtless Ryon episode?
Only if we can also have a topless (and braless) Felicia episode.
Fish in a Barrel
TwinSnakes89 ...or you could both keep it in your pants?
Ruroshen Hey, it's all about equality. If ladies get to objectify a shirtless Ryon, then we men should be able to objectify a shirtless Felicia too.
Shirtless Ryon would just make things akward for everyone
I love that intro song to Sweeney Todd! Sucks it was cut from the movie, but fantastic that Ryan knows it! :D
Fantastic Co-Optitude! Really improved my day
When you cross-reference Co-Optitude and TableTop, you'll see that the Day Family are a bunch of potty mouths. LOL
One: Felicia's blush is A+++++
Two: Playing Cooking Mama on the wii makes me feel like I'm practicing for a hand job.
This was probably the funniest episode yet. I Loved it.
I'd want to see...PB&J?
Watching Ryon imitate Barry White and say "Feels so good", I went from laughing to 😳
I haven't laughed that hard in awhile! Thank you!
Oh good lord, queef quiche? I choked on my gum. Fantastic episode!
Mochi are basically cakes made from rice smashed to the point where it can be formed into small balls. It's common to eat them with ice cream but you can also eat them with soy sauce or even cheese. Delicious!
If you had a cookbook it would be called Co-oktitude and have at the bottom of the cover, "Let's Cook This F@#!er!"
Gosh, you two are like.. cuteness incarnate!
This co-optitude episode is really COOKING!!!
If you guys are looking for a random "wash your hands" or "wipe your ass" type of game, you should both play Wario Ware. That would be hilarious.
Man, this new set is showing off how insanely built Ryon is!
I loved your hair in this ep Felicia! Ryon looks the same... so no compliment for you! :D
I should not have watched this at 6:42 a.m. I laughed way too hard and I think I woke up my family. >_>
Holy crap Ryon has been working out! Those shoulders are making me question my sexuality :s
"Can you make popcorn like this?"
Yes, you definitely can. That's the way most homemade popcorn was made before microwaves.
I haven't watched this in a while!
You guys are still hilarious :)
Best episode yet, laughed like crazy.
'Queef flavoured quiche' and 'Cancer corn' is my band name and my first album.
you guys super competitiveness made me laugh so hard that my parents looked at me like i was CRAZY but it ok it was super funny. ;)
Queef ingredients: Combine the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender. Layer the spinach, bacon, and cheese in the bottom of the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture on top of very willing girl.
Consent is important. GGG!
this was a great episode. the cuts are a little spastic, but the moments captured where very fun to watch.
To be honest, when thinking of American food, junk food does come to mind first.. Maybe a nice recipe for ribs or such?

We hebben stamppot, poffertjes en stroopwafels ;)

Ah thanks! isnt ontbijtkoek known as pumpernickel in the US though?
stroopwafels! so good.... *drool*
i love that phrase "Let's explore this a little more "
Felicia Day ***** I HIGHLY recommend playing one of the Trauma Center games for Wii. That would be hilarious to watch.
Ryon kinda looks like Chris Evans with his beard
Fried chicken is all American with apple pie for dessert! I love the Cooking Mama games
The sibling rivalry made this hilarious.
This video gave me intense joy. im inspired to cook something now with your new recipe book brb
@3:30 that isn't an oven but an indoor gas grill for fish. Source: Live in Japan and have one, they are amazing. Plus, I had to buy and oven and it's tiny compared to American ovens.
If we are talking American cuisine there is only one option... the mighty peanut butter and jelly sandwich!
I would pay cold hard cash for "Cooking with Anuss and Poopie". If I were to add a dish to the American cookbook, I would add the immortal (shelf life) classic: Mac 'n' Cheese, made with squeezy cheese. Yyyyuuuck

Thought deep fried Mars bars were a Scottish atrocity. Didn't realise it was a US thing too.
Great. Now I really REALLY want some flan. It looked so good!
You can actually make popcorn like that. My friend's family buys containers of popcorn kernels and that's basically how you make it. (Except they put vegetable oil and some kernels in a large pot and put the lid partially on then just let it heat. So no moving the pot like in this)
chicken wings, spare ribs, corn on the cob, onion rings, anything involving yams or corn bread(?) and of course turkey
Will the intro ever be edited for Felicia's new hair? XD
IM GROWING IT OUT SOON ILL CATCH BACK UP
Felicia Day How does your hair manage to stay cuter than mine? Every day mine gets longer and looks more like my cat tried to eat it.
Felicia Day It looked gorgeous in the video here, I could see it staying short.
By far one of the best theme songs of life.
Your hair looks oh so adorable Felicia! 🌸
As German I have to say the most American Food would be Spare Ribs or Sloppy Joe closely followed by KFC buckets 😅
Seeing people talk about "American" foods in the comments just makes me think our cuisine (such as it is) is effectively stereotyped as "imitation German".
OMGs This is hilarious!!!
'Felicia au vin' would be my favorite American dish.
Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention until now, but i loved the exasperated Office style camera stares Felicia. Did that always happen?
Yep. Pretty much.
Ryon: "You can't beat a guy at that one."
Mario Party 8, soda shaking mini-game, I lost to a 16 year old girl.
I'd guess the little slot in the stove is more of a broiler for fish...or whatever else you want to broil. Cooking Mama the shit out of your creme brulee!
Where did you get that huge ass whisk?! I love it!
Stole it from Shaq's kitchen. Don't tell.
I've only ever played a Wii once. I tried to play Tennis and ended up backhanding a coffee table.
This episode was hysterical.
The most 'Merican dish ever. Pork Brains in Milk Gravy.
MERICA!!!!!
the little over is a boiler, its good for toasting bread and meling cheese
Do you guys make any merch? Geek & Sundry or any of the sub-blogs/vlogs/channels? :)
YAY! Short episodes again!
The hot dog recipe is absolutely hilarious in this game. You guys should have tried that one just to see how ridiculous it is!
1:11 Lol Americans do have the worst BARPS
As far as quintessential American dishes go, it'd have to be chicken and waffles, right? I swear, we come up with the weirdest foods.
Need to see you guys play No Mercy!
No food is more American than good old fashioned apple pie! :3
Thanks!
It's a single shotgun mic; we ourselves are not mic'd
Also *****, thank you so much for "Use your words". That is going to change my life. :)
You'll love it!
Ryon might need to put out a workout/exercise book!! He looks amazing!
*Goes to look for that cook book.
oh my god the flashing cuts need to stop right now holy shit
This is just perfect!
It'd be an honor to be your personal assistant, Felicia Day.
"I would add Beuf Stroganov as an American dish." Yeah, Felicia... that's not an american dish... ;)
I feel like Ryon dreams of being cast in a Sweeney Todd production. Don't dream it, be it.
Growing up, we'd make popcorn like this on the stove. It was pretty easy to burn, but did a great job. Memories......of the way.....we were......
Can we talk about Felicia's outfit? I mean--- it's so perfect! Ryon's outfit could have used a little less clothing. Less is more Ryon!
Love your outfits, you look amazing :D
