makes me think of how a fetus hears the world outside while still in an conscious state without having this "ego".......this music leads me to my very roots of myself....thank you all for this uploads and thank you shamans for you being out there....and now inside me :)
Did Aya around 2 months ago. I can't remember my shaman's whistle and i'm back in Australia (Did it in Iquitos, deep in the jungle). God, i wish I could remember the sound!!!!!!
@@brettvroman9610Very accurate. In some traditions whistling can be seen as disrespectful or even dangerous (especially at night). It's because whistling can call spirits, but not necessarily the ones you want and is associated with death for example. It was one of the hardest things for me to reconcile coming to this particular tradition and people, was that they whistled oddly enough lol
JRE brought me here, and I'll be hearing them in person in exactly 2 weeks. I can't wait. They are so healing even without Mother Aya! Gracias for uploading mi amigo.
solukhumbu911 Joe has mentioned it a few times in different episodes. The one that brought me here was episode #666 with Duncan Trussell. He plays the Icaro at about 1:48:00 in to the podcast. Cheers!
These songs are ecstatic.. If there is a translation or written words for any of these icaros, even partial, it would be most helpful and amazing. Thanks for sharing them..
Things like this should never and could never truly be written down, and for many traditions they forbid the writing of material as it's intended to be handed down orally. Their people understand the songs, and why they're sung, how they're sung etc. because they were raised in it, and for many trained in it. They've been exposed to it their whole life, there isn't a need to write it down when it's living and breathing and being carried forward properly. It's also why I don't write down my stuff either. I don't want it in the wrong hands, and it isn't something that is meant to be written down.

Please heal me. You claim to love me but you terrorize me existentially. You have all power yet fail to develop me. You can put barriers and make me fail, we've seen that, yet can you make ways, can you make me succeed? You claim to want me and I want you, yet we can't seem to get together. I am in you, but you reject me. Why don't you let me live my potential? Correct me, that's good, but don't just torture me without end. Please make me understand. I want to live. You don't have to ask me. But I want to live with you. I want to commune with you. I want to talk to you. I want to have you in my life. Don't you know. I still love you. I can't do the impossible. If I can do, show me. Show me what I can do. Come to me.
Wish I could enjoy these without feeling nauseous. Its weird, I can listen to the other music they play at Aya sessions, but Icaros make me quesy all over again :/
dlny911 The ones Ive been to were in Europe not the jungle, they put recorded music on first (including icaros), followed by live music when the purging was over (not icaros, more western or south american hippy stuff). Actually that probably explains it.
I love this so much
Hi Ben, do you know whether there are also song lyrics?
@@j.s.3626 I do not know. I have been trying to sound them out at I sing along. If you find them please let me know. Peace ❤️
Ok, will do so. Thanks. Aho.

JoelQuinnPhotography you have your own deep aboriginal wisdom/healing down there, maybe you can check that out too
Aboriginal culture pretty hard to get accepted into. White men have really fucked up the connection here so they're not the biggest fan of us.
Not all Shaman's whistle or incorporate that into the ceremonies, my experience has been more with flutes and such
Nossa queria estar lá

Beautiful, powerful, spiritual music.
Thank you so much for uploading it, Dear Friend! It definitely heals. From all the ícaros those are the one's power I feel so clearly.
Powerful brought me here!!
Has anyone else re started whistling a lot more after this ? As I kid I used to whistle like a train
amazon river RP in secondlife brought me here,, nice to be home :))
Those Peruvian Shipibo patterns a so beautiful, i wish they made readily available clothing with those patterns on it.
mrdelerious2009 I think it's cool to have to visit the jungle for them.
I live in the Amazon. Did you know the patterns in the Shipibo clothing (and other's indigenous groups too) are inspired on Ayahuasca visions?
POWERFUL Fucking sound! Humans are so fucking complex!!!
I found myself in the self who has the truth.
❤
Have never done DMT but I enjoy the music. It's really refreshing to hear something different compared to today's mass manufactured songs.
Justin Jone u should listen to these songs on aya /shrooms /changa dmt etc 😂👌💙🌈🌈🌈
dmt is not ayahuasca
Surprise, surprise. You're doing DMT every day, as it is key component of human being biochemistry
Tiago Bernardini ayahuasca has dmt so it’s kind of the same.
