All lovely images Ewan, but I was most surprised by the shot with the jetty and rainbow at 14:09. Simple and not in the middle of no where yet, beautifully calming to view!
Hi Ewan. Many thanks for sharing. Life’s not always a straight line! Hope repairs not too expensive (but could well have been) as the images are great so definitely worthwhile for us to enjoy. Muriwai one of my favourite spots too, offers all sorts of challenges as you’ve experienced. Have fun.

loved this episode Ewan, despite the damaged lens/mirror etc. you managed to capture images that are first class. Love your style of presentation and honest around the craft of landscape photography.

Im trying to develop my presentation style as i get more and more comfortable.... or wait - less and less UNCOMFORTABLE in the front of the camera (Thanks maybe more like it)! Regards Ewan
@Chris Lagria - I have tried ot answer your question but cannot find it. By 'extension' - if you mean the Nodal Rail - its a 300mm Sunwayfoto Arca Nodal Rail, which can be found on ebay - )
Hope you’ve been able to get some money back from print sales of these cool photos to cover at least some of the cost of repairs! The more I see your long exposures, the more I’m liking them and think I should try doing some myself.

The photographs were worth all the little "glitches" photographers face every time they venture to the great outdoors. I pray the repairs are not too expensive. Great vlog Ewen. Greg
Thanks Greg. I appreciate the comment. The images turned out to be ok, despite the setbacks and probably taught me to "get out... and stay out (in the field)"! Breaking equipment is always maddening but only have myself to blame and i will learn form it. It could have been worse. It actually could have been the camera! Phew!..... Regards Ewan
