In my experience, the most fulfilling part of leadership is seeing the people you mentor do well in their work and life.

This was great! I just randomly found you but extracted a lot of useful information out of this. I'm always looking to sharpen my communication skills. I guess it's the leader in me. And also I find a lot of people today lack good communication skills.
    So what did I learn?
One of the first rules of effective communication is never be me-centered but always YOU-centered in communication.
    AND
Before you communicate anything, you want to answer these three questions: what do I want people to know, feel, and do?
    Thanks for the podcast!

I am 100% with you. I was at a Costco one rainy and "thundery" day. There was a shortage of carts, therefore many shoppers had none to use as staff could not be sent out to get carts. To my surprise, there were many carts lying around inside the store. I approached an associate to ask if l could have the one next to him. I was shocked at his response, "we are using them". Many carts were being used by associates. Immediately, l felt these associates are have no sense of ownership and felt disappointed for Costco. If these associates owned the store, what would they have done? The lack of carts limited the purchase of many customers.I need not go on any further, we all know... 🤔
