Well, TH-cam just recommended me this video and I've got to say, I was skeptical at first because there are so many bullshit videos about Tech today.
I'm highly biaised because I'm currently on a Lead Dev role of a team of 6 people (including the CTO, and myself), and even though I completely agree with you, I also find that I check those boxes you've talked about. So I'm just giving those facts to let people know where I come from, and that I'm biaised :)
That being said, I'm subscribed ! Loved your content, those are 7 mins heavily filled with information. No time to waste, straight to the point, and I could hardly agree more.
You might have wanted to use the word `Empathy` more though, right ? Being able to recognize someone's feeling, or predict someone's feeling can be an important tool in this job aswell to avoid frustrations from decisions you may or may not make.

No I am a team lead, I work more hours outside than my contract hours. But my team respect me. This is true

Thanks mate very helpful. I’ve just accepted a lead Angular dev role at a biotech medical company (unique industry to need a coder). How would you approach your first day as a team lead? And would you setup regular meetings with the dev team every week?

Ummmmmmm I kinda messed up thinking the word Lead was just some fancy title. Now I have an interview on a Lead Android Position when I’m just a recent graduate. Am I doom?! Please advice!

you need to cancel that interview as soon as you can. you should have 5 years experience before jumping as a lead.
