I think the most words of this song represents well all what Batman is and how he became. Now is nothing left for me... cause Bruce try to make a right decision and chooses became a crime fighter behind of the bat mask all his entire life. And as bat image bring terror and horror into his enemies hearts. "I can't live this dark without you - Bruce still remembers what happened to his parents all his life. He allways have nightmares about his parents death and the tragedy he only survives and if even he chooses to continue his own life to fight crime he still misses his parents so much and try to change the world without them and try to do anything that what happened to him as a child will never again happen to anyone else.
