This storage is the cumulation of a bit over a year of learning the ins and outs of storage tech. This storage is designed around my personal preference and not the general Minecraft player so I don't expect you to like all of my design choices. Anyways, ill probably hate this storage system in like 6 months but we will see.

As i have always used Ilmango's design of his storage system and liked it not fully understanding how it works. This video gave me a good insight in how minecraft functions with redstone and items. Super Informative Kayzm :)

Since you mentioned this, I'll have to say this. Either in 1.20.5 or 1.21, overstacked item filters will no longer work due to a bug fix that Mojang made which completely breaks it
So does this storage system have any overstacked filters ? or can i build it and update my server later ?

Bro really nice video, nice editing and everything i really like long videos so that was perfect, another thing your storage system is crazy im doing my own version it's has been like 4 month that i'm studying with a friend about a full storage for every single item and some feature more like a shulker loader and unloader and more anyway i was serching about the mods that u use for zooming because i don't think minihud have the option for zooming and simply i like how the text appears when u zoom.

NGL I've been looking for a well designed storage that is easy to understand for a while. Most designs I haven't considered biulding, because while I can understand each individual component, when I'm looking at the whole system put together, I'm completly lost. Flying around your world, checking it out, I can actually undesrtand how it works. Will most likely build this on my survival world as dolphin storage from cubicmetre has not been enough for me at all and most MIS designs wouldn't hold enough items for me. Also I love the hybrid box loader from commandleo you used, I was thinking about using just that to upgrade the dolphin storage, but I guess I don't have to anymore. Great system and nice explanation.
Question, are all the individual components located at the bottom of the world the same as in complete storage? I'm thinking of aligning them with complete storage for ease of building, since it's easier to build components individually rather than full system at once.
They are the same, they are there if you wanna toss together your own storage system and use the parts I used in the system

its purely down to personal preference, for me, i think its better than all the others, but that is purely my personal bias

Used to use a storage system by JL2579. It had around 6000 hoppers total with about 5000 unlocked slots the time. Was a fps eater.
Does the solid block on top of the hopper stop it from checking if there is an item at all?. Also it will still be amble to transfer items If i point it to the side right?

So. I ended up building this in my world. For some reason. The bulk item storage clogs up unless I click and look inside the sorter hopper. Also the DHFITUA breaks randomly and idk what causes it.

Gonna be honest with you. I designed this potion brewer specifically for this storage and can easily be optimized since i focused on its size more than anything else. so there isn't anything specific for it discussion-wise and i may eventually try and make a less bad version of it.
I mean im impressed with the UI and the little failproofing that u installed.

The system is good and functional, however, there are many problems for someone who doesn't understand the system. For example, the 'Bulk' area, logically, is where items with larger quantities will be stored, right? So what if I place an item that isn't in this system or put an empty shulker box or something similar, where will it go? Another one is 'Mixed Boxes,' what can we put here and the same question, where do the empty shulkers go? Anyway, the system is very extensive, and I would appreciate a video showing all its functionalities. Thank you in advance for this incredible project.
Yeah thats true. Its more of "Yeah this is my storage, i understand it perfectly cuz i spend hundreds of hours building it, youll surely know everything just from looking at it." I mean to be honest this video is not for newbies so i guess its fine.
I don't understand how this is supposed to work, as im quite new to the game when going to your world copy, everytime i place any item in the BUlK section or the Mixed Boxes, they don't go to their accurate chests, would you mind explaining what am i doing wrong so i can try and educate myself a bit more. At the minute all the items get stuck in a double chest underneath "BULK" and don't want to flow from there
If you are new to minecraft, i would highly recomend you to stay out of this stuff for now, if something brakes for any reason at all you will have one hell of a time.

New set based unloader array dropped?? Is there a significant advantage over the old Glotz unloader?
Smaller, easier to build, 29% more lag efficient, in slice pausing for a faster startup from a pause, etc...
not related to the storage itself but how do you come up with good deco for builds like this? I usually dont even know where to start
For this one I looked for a pallette on blockpallette.com and added other textures I liked. I then just trial and errored layouts until one looked good. I don't really have a true "method"
just to be sure can you change the batch size by changing the amount of items in the dropper counter and the multyplying the total of items in the dropper counter by 10?
Batch size is 1 item is 10 in the stack, so 5 items is a stack size of 50

i have 2 questions first 1 is where is there like a main input box for the system and the second question is on the bulk smelter does the thing u want to smelt have to be in a shulker box?
Main input is to the left of the nether portal. And the furnace array requires box input
@@Kayzm if u mean the 2 chests and 1 has a sign that says Bulk and the other Mixed boxes they dont work for some Reason i went in spectator and behind the wall i noticed the items just went into a double chest and no where else

Hey nice work i reale want to Build this in my world . Can you help me with the locking? Do i have to unlog the halls First and the start the System or will the Input also unlock the System? Also if i lock the halls while sorting can it Break ? And if i unlock it agen will the sorting start or do i have to press the start Button? Also i noticed the nonsteckeble sorter has a seperat Input. Do i Break the System if i put them into the Main Input? And if Not are they conectet or do i have to manual get them from the overflow ? The system manages locking itself, so it will unlock by yield when running. The manual levers are just there of you need to get access to items that aren't easily accessible in a chest father back. The system deals with items by the box so all the inputs should end up with the items you want to sort being in a shulker box. Unstackable are separated automatically from the shulkers and sorted using an Unstackable sorter using item properties. From what I have seen, unless you are deliberately using the system as wrong as possible ie: spamming the shit out of noteblocks levers or buttons, or putting loose items in the chest instead of in shulker boxes, then thr system shouldn't have problems unless its a skill issue on my part of poor design

also i just want to say on my system i tested hoppers bieng locked and unlocked with 62.5k hoppers the difrance when locked and unlocked was 0.1 so i defently think its a bit overblown in the storge tech comunety but still think its worth doing especealy if you dont have the best pc or server (i have a i5 13k)
and this was with lithium and other preformance improving mods
Although that is true, lithium defaults a hopper into its locked state. But I also don't like to be fully reliant on a mod to be able to run a system. I do thing people care a small amount too much about achieving FHL, but I will still perfer something that is over something that isn't assuming there is no other drawbacks

those redstone stuff texture look goods and helps, whats the resource pack?
My resource pack is custom made using like 5 different texture packs I merged. Tha main ones I used iv vanilla tweaks for general looks and redstone tweaks for useful redstone components

To be honest almost nothing works on paper servers. This question is in technical community the equivalent of "Does it work on bedrock?". Just use Fabric!

You should say fuck less, it's one of those filler words like "uhhhh" and "like" and "or something" that don't add anything to what you're saying and you don't even realise that you say them that much. They're pretty hard to get rid to because you automatically say them when you are talking and your brain isn't keeping up (at least that's what causes it for me) but it's worth it.
