Thanks. I tried plugging in a gooseneck lamp and it works fine but I think those light controls are for something else. On the back of the mixer it has a light input as well and I think those controls are for that. They don't affect the gooseneck lamp in anyway.
The "Talk Over" button automatically "fades" the music down while you do voice-overs, you don't need to use the Dim button. BTW there are two ways to cue in this thing. "Split" allows to hear both the main and pfl and you can adjust how much signal for each using the main/pfl balance knob or you can switch between them by hitting the Main/PFL button above the headphone level pot. So that audio "bleeding" you hear while cueing is supposed to happen if you are using "split." I also like that I can see the pfl level as it's own meter. I do wish the on/off button for the mic was at the button of faders 1 and 2. I keep forgetting to turn it on between songs, so I've started just potting down the mic and keep the channel always on.
Unfortunately I just recently junked this mixer. Back in December, the channel 3 input terminals burnt out and I was unable to use that channel. About one month ago the same thing happened to channel 4. After numerous tests with my turntables, needles, etc. I came to the conclusions that the problem had to be the terminals and that those terminals were shot. I opened the unit up and salvaged parts and junked it. With that said I would NOT recommend this mixer to anyone because it only lasted....
the bnc connection above where behringer lights up blue is where you conenct a small light for the mixer, thats what the light control is to the right of it.
This mixer is also a good Broadcast mixer! I would say, broadcasting with the DX2000 is excellent. As a club mixer at a party or disco/club, its not very good.
1 year and that's really shoddy quality especially at $300. I was told to stay away from Behringer products and now I learned the hard way. I have decided to get the RANE Mp2016s and the matching isolator. Will post a review on that in the future and will comment more on my experience with this Behringer mixer. Thanks everyone for viewing this video and commenting!
You have studio monitors, thats why you have bass issues. Get a sub and you will not look back. It don't even have to be a massive one but will sort all your bass problems :)
+DJ DarkMatter Those are "auto start" buttons if your cd player or turntable have a "remote" plug-in that's what they are for. My Numark CD decks have remote plugs and now I'm thinking of upgrading to turntables with remote capabilities. It's nice to fire off the music on the board like in a real radio studio.
You can buy a ''Velleman kit'' and built that into the mixer (not difficult to do) and than you have a faderstart. Much easier than the built-in track start!

Hi, does the speakers mute automatically when you turn on microphone
Good video

How is the usb used
Would this be a good unit for blogging or mixing audio for post production on my computer? If not, what mixer should I use?
BTW - PFL stands for 'Pre Fade Listen' not 'Level'
PFL is pre fade listening not levels
Use the controls on the back of the speakers

Are your turntables atleast almost comparable to the 1200s?

About loop FX or any vocal Fx?
Very Nice revire I’m planing To buy one :)
I'm looking for vocal effects on a mixer does this mixer comes with any mic effects?
please help me how i conect this on 2 pcs for streaming
They are light yes. I would not recommend this mixer though. Look at my earlier post about this mixer.
what size mixer is it 12 inch or what think I'm going get it
It believe it was a 19 inch rack mountable. I do not suggest getting this mixer as it died about 6 or 7 months with light use.
Wow okk thanks
What do the Buttons bellow the Channel faders do?

This mixer has no effects but it does have effects inputs(in and out).
What do you mean ?
This reminds of a rodec mixer
Check out my other video for an in-depth look at those turntables.
