m2350 That intake is there for the sole purpose of feeding that supercharger as much air @ CFM as is possible to develop as much hp as possible. Any smaller and the engine would be oxygen starved at full revs. It looks odd, but its necessary.

I'm not sure how much success they'll have with that body shape for a funny car as it's not as aerodynamic as most other funny car body styles. I'd imagine that if the supercar body design was an acceptable overall shape for funny cars that at least one of the brains in that sport would have recognized it and we'd see a lot more of them on the circuit.

Any update on what this car can actually do. This car has some bugs to work out for sure and some issues with design as the engine is pretty far forward which contributes to the traction issue.
