The simple reason Anthony doesn't average about 5 or 6 assists is because his teammates don't hit enough shots he passes enough to average about at least 4 or 5 assists

I watched a video of Melo in 09 in comparison to this and he's bigger and slower on this than he was at that time. Its crazy that pierce is 35 dropping 40.
Pierce was never particularly fast, but he had a good first step, good fakes and excellent footwork that could fool anyone which made up for it. More of a hard playing skilled player.
I'm a fan of Carmelo he has his flaws but he's a great scorer. I want to see him play on a team with other great players so all he has to do is score...
