@@emilyholmes9058 I went to the Marche region of Italy. I volunteered for a month teaching english in a school and I just chilled for the other two months haha. It was totally awesome. And yes I went alone :)
UHM PARDON ME BUT I LOVE FUCKING EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS?!?!?😍😍😍 I can literally not pick any favourite part; the views, the glimpse of your days, your face!!! (Beautiful and missing that one ughh). Anyway all so well done, and I ENJOYED EVERY SECONDD💓💓💓
Going to do a 2 month au pairing in Palermo as well ! Realizing I would have a lot of free time during the day , what do you usually spend on your free time and how did you meet people ? Thanks !
Omg that’s so exciting you’re going to love it!! Palermo is great because it is a bus ride away from some of the most beautiful beaches, do me a favor and go to Mondello you will not regret it. Also there are just many things to see in Palermo; gardens, markets, churches. I would highly recommend Meet Up which is a great app that has events where you can meet people, also you could stay in a hostel for a night or two and meet some cool people there. Hope this helps!
Yes I did know some Italian before but it’s amazing how fast you can learn the language when you are in the house surrounded by it so I wouldn’t let it discourage you from doing it!
Hi I just found your channel (its amazing!!). I was wondering what program you use? I have always wanted to be an Au pair but im a little worried about going to another country and don't know what programs are trusted.
Ahhhh thank you so much this makes me so happy! I met this family through mutual friends but I have used workaway before which is pretty trustworthy but my biggest advice no matter where you look is to really try to get to know the family and do a FaceTime interview so you can feel them out and make sure it’s a good match! I hope you find a good family❤️
Hi Kristin thanks so much for subscribing! Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to that because I have an Italian passport and the visa depends on where you from or what passport you have. I digest googling it. Best of luck✨❤️
Sicily is a stunning place rich in food and culture and I loved it! Just depends what you will be doing and for how long because it is still a very traditional place and behind in some ways. Hope this helps!
Love the teaching technique of switching between two languages to keep your daughter engaged 😆! Looks like you both have a very cute beach life!
Nope you don't know me but please just know that your videos have literally given me the push to finally do this! You're the bomb!
I don’t know you but I already love you! Thank you so much for watching and I hope you get to have your experience, you deserve it❤️

@@BigAlAroundTheWorld ohh dang!! Okay I have hope 😂😂 thanks! ❤️ can I ask, did you use any books or what was the main way you learned??
@@Gianna-ff2mg children's books in Italian are very useful, but I learned with the TV series "the 100" with audio and subtitles in Italian!
