All of a sudden the Republicans love the FBI, if you remember, just prior to this they said that the FBI is a bunch of liars and not credible.
So which is it? This whole investigation smells of a sham, kind of seems like the FBI is working towards what the president wants, for their own sanity, as well as being directed as to what to look at, and what not to look at, considering the amount of witnesses that were not even interviewed. Any investigator, myself included for 31 years, knows , that you search all leads to arrive at a logical and factual conclusion. None of this, this whole thing just stinks.

You realize the exact same thing can be said about Democrats, right? Like literally the same thing.
Because the FBI investigation didn't go the way they wanted it to go, suddenly it isn't worth a shit. But when the FBI is showing all kinds of evidence to support Russian collusion, Democrats say" The system works! Aren't the FBI amazing?"

@@SkotKozB5 - The difference is that the FBI that running the Russia investigation is
      A. Has a conservative director (aka he's one of the Republicans own), so the evidence against their own party reveals a lack of bias
      B. No restricted timeframe, nor do they have to deal with restricted limits on witnesses
      C. The evidence is substantial bc the interviews of this investigation were lengthy & thorough
^compare that to only a 5 day investigation that had limits on how many & who can be interviewed---even excluding interviews of the main parties involved: Ford and Kavanaugh! So it's reasonable to find it insufficient. I'm not a Democrat, and even I can see that. It was lazy, sloppy, and way too restricted. It was just put on for show and done in such a way that nothing can be gleaned from it, just so that the confirmation can move forward. This whole thing was a sham on both sides, but moreso on the Republicans end. Especially bc they had a huge list of conservative nominees to go with, and instead they chose to go with Kavanaugh, who is as slimy and vindictive as they come.

    • @SkotKozB5
      @SkotKozB5 6 ปีที่แล้ว

And if I recall, the week time limit was set during the hearing. And they finished in 6 days.
Not good enough though. When it took less time to investigate Anthony Weiner, no one said anything but now that it's Kavanaugh there's a problem? Right.

They don't actually want anything to be found. A more apt simile might have been a murderer who publicly calls for police investigation into the murder while sabotaging that investigation behind the scenes, but in either case I don't get how you can come to the conclusion you did without some willful ignorance.

Even though they testified before the committee no investigator worth their salt will go and watch video tapes instead of interviewing both parties , in fact they would do both to ensure the details remained consistent stayed the same.
Also releasing your shrink's notes to a bunch of partisan morons will put scrutiny over every single thing you said in confidence and emotional state that is protected by law., Better question is why a candidate for supreme court does not want to disclose if he met with the presidents legal team to discuss the Mueller probe th-cam.com/video/h5yYm98kCIo/w-d-xo.html

@@johnr8820 Let's also not forget she changed the date of her attack 5 times, all 4 of her witnesses denied her story under federal penalty, she was in direct contact with the Washington Post yet claimed she wanted this matter handled privately, she can't remember who drove her to and from the party, in her testimony she stated immediately after the assault she ran out of the house crying but changed her story under cross examination when confronted with her best friends statement explaining she remembers leaving the party with Ford laughing, Ford then went on to correct herself saying half way down the stairs she collected herself and didn't tell her best friend what had just happened because she didn't want her to worry. As you said Dr. Ford claims she spoke of this incident with a therapist stating there are records of her recalling the event yet she won't release those note or the ones from her polygraph. The day after Senator Feinstein received the letter she called Ford the next day and immediately advised her to take a polygraph test and seek lawyers all while Brett and the Republican party had no knowledge of these allegations and wouldn't for 40 days. There's only two people who could've leaked that letter, Feinstein or Ford. All these people demanded an FBI investigation and when said investigation started revealing there was no evidence to support Ford's claim or the other accusers the FBI was labeled corrupt. Kavanaugh has been in politics for 26 years and has undergone 6 FBI investigations granting him the highest security clearance a person can have working in the government granting him access to our nuclear missile codes. If Democrats truly believed this man is mentally unhinged and is incapable of having so much power in the Senate where was the out cry when he held a position that came with the responsibility of handling something that could start a WW3 or end the world as a whole? This entire case has been a horrible shit show. The media as well as the Democratic party have thrown aside one of the most fundamental ideals our country was founded on and that's, "Innocent until proven guilty." Every sexual assault allegation should be taken seriously and the accuser should have their voice heard, and the accused deserves that same respect as well. I'm a victim of sexual assault and this debauchery is a slap in the face to all real victims. The ones who've been sexually assaulted and the ones falsely accused.

Look first of all she gave the notes to WaPo so I'm sure she'd have no issues giving them to the FBI, secondly "all 4 of her witnesses denied her story under federal penalty..." no they didn't. For one none of them said it didn't happen... each & every one of them said they couldn't remember said event happening which is not the same thing. Two of those people would have had no reason at all to remember what was to them just some random party back when they were teenagers because they weren't aware of anything having happened [if it did.]
Secondly, despite the clever attempt at Mark Judge to confuse people with his "under penalty of felony" to make them think of "under penalty of perjury" but he wasn't giving a statement under oath so perjury would not apply. However, a lot of people have said 18 U.S. Code § 1001 would apply & that is what he is referring to, but that's incorrect as well. If you read the text of that law www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1001 him saying he didn't remember any event such as the one described they would never in a million years be able to prosecute him under that law.
Those inconsistencies is exactly why the FBI should have interviewed, at the very f-cking leas, Dr. Ford & Judge Kavanaugh.

Let me start by saying, I do not identify as a Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal.
Where is the honor? Where is the honesty? Where is the noble intent that these offices are SUPPOSED to hold most sacred?
Wether the judge (in a drunken state or not) did these things or not, I don't think we'll ever know.
However, his attitude, behavior and outright deception,, is abhorrent and absolutely beneath the job that he is being offered.
The absolute partisan behavior and attitudes of some (if not MOST) of OUR representatives is Shameful at best and unlawful at worst and definitely NOT representative of MOST people that I talk to.
I believe our system is broken. We have a TWO party system that spends most of its time fighting AGAINST each other rather than FOR anything. The ONLY thing that the two parties seem to unite AGAINST is the creation of a third party that could possibly break up the constant stalemate. BOTH parties are beholden to their largest "contributors" which have little too nothing to do with the 80-90% of us that have to listen to the constant smear campaigns and soon to be broken promises. Usually based on the last big story in the partisan news/social media platforms. And most horribly, anyone who does get elected that doesn't clearly pick their side and "play the game" properly is very effectively blocked from accomplishing anything or having a voice until the next election. Does any of this seem honorable, honest, noble OR representative of the principles this country was founded on?
If we don't change our broken system from within, someone WILL come and change it FOR us.
A house divided, can not stand.
