no gold catching equipment is 100% effective, there will always be a small amount that gets out, if it's processed tons of gold over it's lifetime that would be an acceptable amount to loose, they could have been running non stop for 5+ years on good ground and never bothered to wash it, or maybe its final wash they were careless in cleaning it or taking it apart causing concentrates to leak out, maybe they just never bothered to empty it after it's final wash, i doubt this machine is loosing much gold.
The voice said if they shut down it will cost them tens of thousands of dollars how is that even possible when they already purchased the crap for $20,000
Renting the machines are hourly, the water, waste, man power etc, then calling someone in to fix it would cost a premium, calculate the money they would make if it was up and running and there you go
@@shanepowers7566 it's not a lie its from time lost. They make a set amount of money an hour if the plant is running so.If it's down for a amount of hours they lose that plus maintenance etc etc
@@TheTelblackwell Sadly you are not wrong, but to answer Austins question, the material that the boys bought is all waste from the bigger mines, as he said services etc which is all cables, pipes etc.
oh the drama lol the look on the bobcat drivers face when he was asked to get out and help haha like ummm this aint normal. just follow the script mate and play with the plastic for the camera
It funny they but the centrifuge concentrator for $8000 AUD and recover 3.61 ounces of gold just cleaning off the dirt. At $2,389.59 AUD per ounce of gold that equals $8,626.41 AUD so they make money buying the new equipment without even running the thing.
I feel what we are seeing is real, but the script came with the filming crew. Remember them car build shows where a car had to be finished by a certain deadline? Film crews can’t seem to get that format out of their minds.
Good subject lads and very interesting. But why do you insist on them chattering in between, U.S. doccie style..? Not good watching for someone with more than half a brain! Catch a wake-up boys'
"They have to go to the bathroom in their pants, if they stop to go, it could cost them tens of thousands of dollars" "Sumthimes we wear nappies"
ha lol
Lol
Hahaha
If we stop for lunch, that ham sandwich can cost the dust devils tens of thousands of dollars in lost production.
I love have they are always broke …gotta find gold or were fked …..
You blokes are a bloody impressive team especially the way you can fix everything
I love watching this in the night :D
I like how they work, get old from other’s work
Nice weigh in. Nice surprise with cleaning off the concentrator
On this episode of "Discount Butcher's Gold Rush"
“Oh look, I just happen to have the exact thing I need to solve this problem, just layin arouuuund, and it does what I want first try”
Yeah righto.
Very good, congratulations on the work✨ ⛏️🤠👍
If you find gold on the outside of the machine that means it was dumping it out on the ground and didn’t catch it...

Could be operator error as well. Big mining companies dont always have the most diligent employees.
You gotta love the gold
I wonder if it would be worth burning the soil to melt out the plastic and organic material
How can someone lose something he doesnt have? I cant wrap my mind around that.
Some of the machine and labour are rented and they are calculated by hours so down time means they are losing money.
@@AwesomeVideosReddit I doubt it's 'tens of thousands of dollars' though, and besides, they can always make up for the lost time...
@@sinu0us cos they lose time and everybody knows time is money
The only sure way to make money is to sell the miners their shovels.

how is gold inside the waste from mining company? i dont get it?
Why don't they have a system to recycle the water. U would think if water was so valuable to them they would set up a simple little system to do so
why they don't have a good loader ?
Insted of that bobcat on tracks...
How many karat is this gold?
So intressting
The gold found cleaning off the machine was worth almost as much as he paid for it
3.61 oz. I'd say so ! That's over $7,000 today.
Got to love getting stuff for near free lol. Good thing he took the time to clean it up
he definitely got that huge bar of gold off a few kilograms of surface residue yup
Do you want to turn the background music up any higher can't hear it
What was the concentrator gold by its self?
The left over plastic and crap goes where?
This show is so scripted. Clearly The Discovery Channel have no problem insulting their audience.
How is there all that plastic in the dirt
Plastic everywhere, I reckon if I was to stick a finger up me arse, I'd probably find plastic.

I mostly feel bad for the bobcat driver. He does the majority of work and all the dirtiest jobs and prob gets the least pay there.
Tamo junto meu patrão show show show top
where is this plastic coming from?
Remnants of mining explosives.
do the tailings if you run low
So you paid less for gold and got a free machine nice

So who pocketed the 6gram blob from the pour 🥺
That was just slag on top of the gold itself
Why dont they recycle the water? Such a waste of precious water 💧 !!
Proppa job
Is this serious? Lol
