I've watch 100's of videos that pertain to baking, my Cricut and dog training. I don't recall ever feeling compelled to comment on any even though I thought they were informative. However, this one has taught me more than any others that I've watched. I appreciate your time and how descriptive you were in teaching each steps. Thank you so much!
This comment made my day, thank you! It being my first video ever, I wasn't sure it was good enough or if I explained well enough but you surely gave me the reassurance I needed. ❤️
Great video. I have been decorating cookies for a couple of years and I am still struggling with consistency. I told myself to start from scratch and look for videos on consistency. This has been extremely helpful. Thanks 😊!
Even though I use glaze icing for my cookie decorating, I am always looking to learn more about royal icing. Aside from the annoying music, I did find your video very informative and full of helpful tips. Thank you :)
Very helpful video! I feel like I have a better understanding of the different consistencies! The first rose looked like a number 16 tip, what tip did you use for the second rose? The second rose was fuller than the first! Thank you!
I find this video very helpful. I'm trying really hard to decorate cookies. But it seems like I just can't get it right. But I'll keep trying. Thanks for your help. 😊
Wonderful video! You're an excellent teacher. I'm currently struggling with my royal icing consistencies so I'm hoping that this will help me nail it. Also, where did you get your baking/pastry mat? It's *SUPER* cute. Thanks in advance!
Very helpful vid I’ve tried frosting cookies last year and they were a hot mess. Do you use meringue powder? Does this help with consistency? Move was way to runny
I do use meringue powder. I use 1/2 cup of water to a 2lb bag of powdered sugar. My base icing is always thick and I think down using a spray bottle with water depending on what you need- flood, outline, or details.
I'm saving this video! Thank you for showing all the different consistencies! I'm ready to start practicing. Can you tell me how long I have to wait until I add a second color of icing next to the first one? Is it only about 5 minutes?
Your welcome! Have fun practicing! If you have a dehydrator, you can add another color of icing in about 10 minutes since the dehydrator makes the icing crust pretty quick. Without a dehydrator, I would wait until you see the top layer crust over. If you are doing a wet on wet technique of course you would mix in right away.
I wish I could help, I am not sure which tip I used I was just grabbing random tips to show examples. It looks like a closed star tip. I like using both open star and closed star tip for those style of roses.
you should do a voice over to make your voice sound a little louder thank the music. You voice is about the same volume ever a little lower than the music, so its hard to hear. But the video is very helpful!!
Good video but too much time is spent just showing the stirring process. Some editing would vastly improve the video while still imparting a lot of information. Thanks anyway. I learned a lot.
I agree. This was my first video ever so I definitely have a lot to learn regarding videoing and editing but thank you for your suggestion. I hope to continue improving. 😊

Thank you for your comment! I am so glad you found my video helpful and I am sure you will do great!
I am sorry if you don't have that music at background, it will be much better.
Excellent video! This is what I have been searching for a long time. Thanks you so much!🥰
Glad it was helpful! ☺️

Thank you so much! I hope it helps as well.
The mat is from Borderland's Bakery. ❤
With the different bag thicknesses, is there a reason you would choose to use one over the other?
Ive been looking for this….whats your recipe?
Well explained. Thank you. Good job.
suas explicações são muito boas amei muito obrigado deus lhe de em dobro
Super informative. The music is not great but I muted it and used the closed caption and it was fine.

@@wendyvalencia5318 thank you so much I will def get some and see how my holiday cookies turn out this year 😀

The music makes it very difficult to hear what you're saying and it is VERY distracting, even with the CC turned on. 😳😕😬
What is the recipe for royal icing that I can pipe flowers
Very helpful! Thanks!

Do you have a recipe for your outline consistency?
Great tutorial, thank you
Excelente, muito obrigada 😍🙏
Great video! Thank you!
Very helpful!!!! How do you make your icing? There are so many recipes, eggs, no eggs, cream of tartar, etc. Thanks ! 😊
I use meringue powder, warm water, powdered sugar, your choice of any clear extract, couple tbsps of corn syrup and a squeeze of white gel coloring
Help! Can you tell me the tip you used for the second rose???
I wish I could help, I am not sure which tip I used I was just grabbing random tips to show examples. It looks like a closed star tip. I like using both open star and closed star tip for those style of roses.
Can you share your royal icing recipe please ?
It would’ve really helped if you said what your tip sizes were using
I thought the same at first, but it was her first video. Let’s give her grace. 😌
Very helpful!!!!
Thank you.
The music over your voice makes this a hard to watch video. Your work is very lovely though.

I can’t hear you even with my volume turned all the way up.
I am so sorry if this video wasn't loud enough. It was my first video so definitely a learning curve to figure out the perfect specs.
@@daintycookieco.3723 thank you!

Great video, nice voice. Annoying music.
Can't even watch it music is annoying
What's with the annoying music in the background. I really was enjoying your work but the music is so distracting I quit watching.
I just turn the sound off and turned on close captioning.
I agree
